About
This roguelite deckbuilder is set in the American West. Battle monsters, cultists, and folkloric creatures while searching for gold and the source of the evil within a mine. You choose when to leave, not where to go. Will you play it safe returning to the surface, or risk it all by going deeper?
Turn-based combat gives you plenty of time to think strategically. Sometimes it’s best to retain cards by “pocketing” them for use in combos or when you most need them.
Many difficult decisions await you in the mine, including when to end your run and return to the surface with your loot. The deeper you go the better the rewards, but if you die you risk losing it all.
Use the gold you acquire to expand your town, unlocking upgrades, new characters, and the ability to purchase cards and equipment for each character.

While not the most polished looking, this game offers a couple of interesting twists to its Slay the Spire like gameplay. The first big twist is its fun push your luck mechanic. After each encounter you are shown the odds on what you next encounter will be (be it an event, combat, elite combat, or even a boss encounter). Seeing these odds you need to decide to take your current winnings back up to the surface or plunge ahead, knowing that IF you are knocked out, you will lose most of the resources you've gathered so far (needed to unlock and upgrade facilities in the hub town). Another fun twist is there are a lot of single use cards (permanently banished after use) but works in a card early on that can save single use cards if played the same round.
Already two hours into playing, and really impressed with how much there is for under $10. This is my first time playing a roguelite deckbuilder, and it was a little difficult at first. Once I earned some gold, and started to build my character and deck, I cleared the first level and unlocked the Gunslinger! I'm looking forward to trying out all of the characters, because the first two offer very different experiences playing the game. I'm hoping I have as much fun with the next two characters! I really enjoy the music and little animations make the game more interesting.
I was a little hesitant at first in playing this game, especially being that I have never played an actual deck builder before, (outside of Queen's Blood in FFVII Rebirth lol). But I wanted to give it a try. I played for about 4 hours and I enjoyed it so much that I lost track of time. The UI and instructions were surprisingly friendly to people who are new to this genre. The art and animations are a little rough around the edges, but the gameplay and audio are both solid. I found myself doing "gold runs" just so that I could buy buildings and see my town grow in the over-world lol. I have yet to get to the harder levels but based on the time I've put in, I'd say that if you're looking for a challenge, I recommend this to both new players and veterans.
I'm always on the look for new deck building dungeon games and I've been enjoying this game a lot. I would recommend anyone to try this and if you really like to test yourself and get towards level 10 ascension, you will easily get your money worth. Love this game, big ups Mr, Developer.
Enjoyable little card game. Not the most in depth one I have played but has decent progression and the luck based encounters keep it interesting. I keep coming back to it! The graphics are simple but charming.
