Rise: Race The Future

the developers behind this game are legendary (look up VRally3 on GBA) Overall I would recommend this game. Great graphics, quick to load, and a good amount of content without a season pass etc. Driving is satisfying but also punishing, it feels good to drift around corners and nail lines. But overall handling the cars is a bit too slippery, even more so on water. (the switch ver of this game has an option slider for vehicle handling and fixes the issue, but this is missing on PC?) Music is usually subjective, but I would be surprised if anyone was blown away by the music here. For me it's as generic as it gets. I recommend turning the music off and playing one of the Ridge Racer soundtracks. The game itself doesn't have much flavour, transforming into hover-cars and racing over water could have been the added spice, but they don't really do anything with it. No waves, ramps, or waterfalls, etc- it might as well be driving on ice.. That being said I don't want to hate on it, the tracks all look great in a Sega kind of way and it's pretty fun when you're in the zone. I got it 70% off and I'm happy with this purchase

Fantastische graphics maar net niet zo fantastisch als GriP. De geluidseffecten lijken eerder onafgewerkt want je hoort enkel de motoren van de verschillende bolides maar voor de rest amper iets anders. De muziek is ok maar niet meer dan dat! Qua rijgedrag sluit ik mij aan met de rest van de reviewers, het racen voelt niet echt top aan, wss ook te wijten aan het gebrek aan soundeffects, maar ook qua besturing! Toch vind ik deze game een erg leuk tussendoortje maar het hoort absoluut niet tot de toppers! Het afwisselen van de ondergrond en het voertuig dat zich aanpast van wielen op de grond tot zweven over over het water lijkt mij vooral leuk. En er is wel redelijk wat afwisseling tussen de racemonsters en trajecten plus ook de weer effecten zijn leuk meegenomen. Graphics: 9,5/10 Soundeffects: 5/10 Gameplay: 7,5/10 Koop dit vooral tijdens de sales of een sale!

Понравилась игра.Только ради VR поддержки и купил.Красивая и сочная картинка прям супер,сама гонка аркадная и динамичная.К сожалению не успеваешь любоваться очень красивыми пейзажами,а в остальном хорошая игра.Пусть будет в коллекции конечно же.

Rise: Race the future is one of the best-looking games I’ve played on my PC. Handling is responsive and I had a lot of fun racing. The lack of multiplayer doesn't mind me but the repeated generic music and environments leave a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, this racing game has a lot of content and the visuals are certainly fantastic meaning that whilst this game doesn’t reach first place, it still deserves a place on the podium.

Abandoned soon after launch on PC, play it on Switch. If you like the genre, also try Ridge Racer 7 on PS3 or RPCS3.

Diversión pura y entornos con gráficos impresionantes. Funciona a la perfección en la Rog Ally a 1080p 60fps.

l'UI est complètement buggé il s'affole totalement que ce soit avec la manette ou avec le clavier, impossible de paramétrer tout ça, et pire encore en course impossible de faire rouler la voiture, que ce soit avec la manette ou avec le clavier, sans parler des graphismes qui sont juste nuls pour un jeu actuel. je suis déçu :/
