Now this is proper oldschool. Simple and charming, features a variation of bump combat which is always welcome, great if you like grinding monsters and exploring the world without much, if any, handholding.

I've bought the game and finished the game recently. I note the following in relation to the game: Story: • The story is straight-forward, short, and simple. • There are no plot twists or any complexity to the story: it delivers a clear start and a clean finish. Gameplay: • Some nice touch on how each monsters have its own weaknesses. • Combat is not complex either and brought about some nice nostalgic memories of an old 8-bit/RPG games back in the days. • It provides some exploration in the world map. • The game is not hard or anything, in fact it is quite easy to finish. Detailed touches of the content: • There are certain things in the game that really shines for this game (i.e. the ideas with a shovel, a lantern, the rumours/stories from the tavern/bar, the side-quests, map designs, character dialogues, and the bgms). They are well thought-out by the developer. Overall – Recommended In overall, this is a good indie game worth to play. It is well created, and you clearly see that the developer has put in the effort and mindset into making this game. I would highly recommend playing it and just enjoy for what it has to offer. [Personal thoughts here to the developer: well done for having no English-related issues for the game. There were no spelling or grammatical errors that I have seen at all, and this makes my enjoyment of the game positive. While this is meant to be the basic things to have in a game (you might think), but you’d be surprised how many other indie games having this issue.]

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a charming little throwback to a previous generation of action RPGs. Recommended for anyone in the mood for a tight little game to enjoy for a few hours! The story is just enough, and the lore of the game world unfolds naturally as you interact with characters and solve the various quests. I completed the game in about 3 hours, with my progress accelerating as I naturally figured out the world and combat mechanics through some mild trial and error. Nothing terribly challenging in the main quest, now I'm turning to the post-game Temple of Rebirth quest.
A decent action-rpg romp, even if I didn't find it particularly difficult.
簡単で音楽が良い
The game throws you into its world and its systems, entrusting the player to find answers and solutions by themselves with some hints here and there, which is quite nice and reminiscent of older rpg titles. A lot of focus is on exploration, combat, and movement which is a very interest way to do things. The combat system, while different than usual, is well designed and easy to get the hang of without feeling too easy that every encounter is a breeze. The world is designed in a way where landmarks are easy to remember where they are, but how to get to them can be a challenge at times (mainly trying to find the caves to the manor and the castle as well as where and how to find certain items like the tower key). I did find myself not using magic all too much, its effects were not all too helpful even in the late game, although magic on enemies is very threatening, mainly stun, a certain late game enemy's spells, and the final boss' spells. The progression is easy to follow without any guide with solutions being hinted at if you talk to someone, or the solutions may just come natural to you. There's also some non-required things to do/obtain which is very neat. The bonus dungeon utilizes the combat system and enemy design at its best. This dungeon is almost like one elaborate puzzle with which enemy having only a limited skill set (some even having magic), different walking speeds, different stats, and some being required to advance to the next level of the dungeon. The combat system can make things a challenge as you can accidentally lose a powerful form (like a vampire or deathknight) to a bat who happened to walk into you last second which sets you basically back to square one in later floors. It is a true test to your combat ability and memorization of the enemies in the main campaign, ending with a pretty interesting implication for what happens after the campaign. The music and the look of the game are also fantastic. The controls are also very nice and responsive, every bad thing that happened felt like it was my fault and not the game being unfair. Ultimately, I rate this game very highly and recommend it to people who enjoy older rpg titles or want to get into older rpg titles as this game, while not being old, is a pretty fair introduction to them, albeit much less cruel and much less of a grind (although I admit I may just be really good at this game).
As an OG Hydlide liker, I had a lot of fun with this game! The game has a nostalgiac and familiar feeling, but brings in a couple modern ideas to keep it unique. The soundtrack had a pleasant dungeon-synthy feel to it that never got old. All in all, some good fun, and a great pick if you like PC-88/MSX styled Action RPGs.
