RIG Riot

A dream game for me. Growing up with the original Armored Core, and constantly missing a game that properly captures the aesthetic feel of booting up a PS1 and just "playing something fun", RIG Riot ♥♥♥♥♥♥' nails it. I put mountains of time into the Demo, and I'm quickly finding myself losing hours to the main release, seeing all the new parts, grinding the new levels, trying the new (and newly rebalanced) builds possible. The worst thing I can say about the game is that I'm losing myself to it, just as I did the demo. An easy buy, especially if you love the simple joy of a game that feels fun to play, unlocks that can completely change how you design your character, and even constantly tweaking numbers in the customization menu to squeeze out every last drop of speed possible to hit the limit of what is even controllable by a human while blasting GAS GAS GAS.

This game allows me to do what Fromsoft fears and I can equip TWO Pilebunkers at once. Instant bunk/10!

여러 아머드 코어의 구성을 충분히 잘 섞어낸 준수한 아머드 코어 라이크 게임 이런 소규모 게임이 그렇듯 플레이어가 즐길 게임성은 충분하지만 플레이어의 RP를 담당할 스토리가 조금 부족한 편이긴 하나 아머드 코어를 좋아했었고 이제 메카겜 뭐하지 싶은 사람들에게 추천할만 하다고 생각합니다 한글화 안되어있어서 조금 불편한 편이긴 하나 크게 막히진 않을거에요

El sistema de combate es entretenido, el RNG es basico pero funcional, muy bueno para pasar un rato jugando pero lo que resta, es que los mapas se sienten vacios y falta de contenido. Ojala el creador siga actualizando.

Spent some time in the demo and now have started playing the full game. Very worth it if you love fast mecha combat and want to support a solo dev. Definitely try the demo if you are on the fence!

The highest praise I can give them game is it feels exactly as advertised: AC but rogue-lite. It has similar combat to AC6 (minus stagger) that feels immediately familiar with the build variety you would expect from a rogue-lite AC. It can feel a bit rough around the edges (as expected from an indie game), but it's very much fun enough to recommend to any AC fans.
