Rift Rangers

Very well done game and very fun to play !

So this game is one I always like to go back to, the theming is fun and the tower/trap style compared to the standard bullet heaven gameplay loop gives a nice different scratch to the brain. Definitely a good one to throw on for a quick unique experience every now and again.

Once in a while, you receive a game only to have it exceed your expectations. Mine were low, but interested. When this game matched and surpassed those expectations, it was a huge win. Simple gameplay, simple controls, and instead of a really bad and nonsensical story, you get nothing but action. This game pumps you up and gets you ready for an incrementally difficult fight. Although, it's worth noting that the game does get much easier once you begin to get your upgrades and you're settled, but it's a very fair system in my opinion. It loses points in how many maps there are in comparison to difficulty levels - now expecting a possible DLC pack that adds much more to that. Perhaps even an added hero. For what you get for the price, I highly recommend Rift Rangers. It's very colorful and fun. If you're not much of a fan of these types of games, which I am not, you're still going to have a good time.

Awesome game, Towers are interesting round length is great (20 minutes) can't recommend it enough especially at 3.99€ Really looking forward to future updates!

Got it on a Steam Sale and it was totally worth it. I mean I hear the complaints that the game isn't uber difficult and content heavy, but it has enough content to keep me satisfied for what I paid for, and difficult enough for me to feel challenged, but not stressed. I enjoy quick plays of this as I go between games I am currently playing. AND THAT INTRO! If you needed a rougelite with a screen full of enemies and some awesome BG music to remind you of saturday morning cartoons, this is pretty good. Hope it will lead to updates, or even a more involved multiplayer sequel.
