This game is very rewarding. It has so much going on! You really have to work as a team to overcome all the obstacles, which can be frustrating, but once you get the hang of it...the game rocks. Honestly, just naming the train whatever you want ends up being really fun. Our last train was called "Chug-It". I love the Old West feel and the supernatural elements. As far as multi-player Co-Op games go, this is up there with the best!
All my ladders are broken, I'm out of sheet metal, a ghost keeps stealing my melons, and I exploded. 10/10
This game is an hidden gem, I had to chance to see it grow everyday, see the dev pour passion into this project and they made a fun game. I recommend!
A great puzzle game to play with friends or solo. Difficult but not impossible and once you get the hang of it you'll be surprised at how long you played without noticing the time fly.
Fantastic game with incredible replayabilty. The game loop is very fun and has enough variety to keep each run interesting! Also, be like me -Have the greedy passenger -Have the tools robbed out of my hands on the late stages as I'm about to make the final repairs -die
After 2 or 3 failed attempts and not quite sure what we were doing, my friends and I finally locked in. Once we did, we really started to appreciate the nuance, brilliance, and flow of this game! Grab some friends, channel your patience, and I guarantee after you find your stride with it, this will be an instant favorite!
Rhyolite is a good resource management that increases in difficulty as the pressure rises. It's easy enough to pick up and takes a while master. The variation in resources, cards, and playable characters leads to a game with hours and hours of fun to play and to watch! I recommend this game for those who like games to play with friends and those looking for a game to master!
Really enjoyed this game. First few games were chaos but once you set to specific roles and communicate it gets easier.
Absolutely great co-op experience, I've never played anything quite like it. Unlike games like Overcooked (which I do enjoy), it doesn't just bombard you with volume of tasks, but with a variety of tasks. Not too complicated, easy to pick up, slight learning curve but that's to be expected. Would recommend to anyone!
Can't recommend this game enough, especially in co-op mode. It is easy enough to play (especially on steam deck or with a controller, but very smooth on PC as well), but so difficult to master! The tutorial does a great job teaching the basics and from there the difficulty ramps up with each successful "capture". The game scales well for 1-4 players, so you can make progress no matter what. I prefer co-op, but solo doesn't make it impossible like some other co-op games. What's special about Rhyolite are the Easter eggs you find and the puzzles that have to then be solved (within an already difficult run!) to progress the hidden story. I've only made it to a couple of steps thus far, but can't wait to get to the next step! Such a great game and value at these Indie prices! 10/10 recommend!
