Revenge of the Spirit: Rite of Resurrection

It made me clean the house. Really. It is that awful. The story is not bad, cliché of course, but its ok. But WHY port this game from PC to mobile and then from mobile back to PC? This version sucks. The resolution is low. The sound is sometimes louder, sometimes you barely hear it. The walkthrough i used (you have to because some objects you have to interact with are not visible) featured the original PC version, with a mouse pointer that changed to a hand, an eye, a cogwheel and decent resolution. If you managed to play it until the bitter end, you find out that it ends with a cliffhanger and tells you to buy the bonus chapter, over at google play. Conclusion: Better a HUG than this HOG.

Сносный квест жанра Hidden Objects, в котором присутствует множество головоломок, сцен с поиском предметов, хорошие саундтреки и вполне нормальный сюжет. Из звукового сопровождения в основном неплохая только музыка, речь у персонажей записана на разной громкости, если, например, полицейский говорит громко, то главная героиня лепечет так, будто она находится в другом конце здания. Русская локализация в диалогах очень хромает, в оригинале говорят одно, в переводе же - совсем другое, немного теряется нить и без того короткой истории. Одна из причин, которая может Вас смутить и решить не проходить эту игру, или же вообще не покупать её - отвратительная картинка и низкий уровень разрешения, из-за чего прохождение локаций с поиском объектов может оказаться неприятным. Если быть честной, то игра не стоит своих денег хотя бы потому, что разработчики даже не постарались сделать приемлемое для компьютеров разрешение, а просто портировали игру с Play Market, всего делов-то. Если уж и платить за неё, то только во время больших скидок. Также по прохождению игры будет "доступна" бонусная глава, открывающая 15+ новых локаций и показывающая дальнейшее развитие сюжета. Но есть одно "но", Вы не сможете её пройти, ведь бонус покупается в Play Market, а мы тут с Вами находимся в Steam! В общем эта игра вполне себе стоит внимания игроков. Если в неё играть с телефона. Желательно не покупая. 2 портирования из Play Market из 10.

The graphics are okay but they're very low res and will strain your eyes. Due to that the items can be quite hard to find, sometimes totally blurry and on a background of the same color. I wish there was a way to lock the inventory bar as it hides too fast. The sounds are almost inexistent, the voices are not really good and have a very bad compression, the music is okay though. There's some disturbing child babbling sound in the background in the beginning, supposedly to be creepy so don't play the game with headphones or it will quickly get on your nerves. The item handling is a bit odd as you have to click and drag some objects around, items from your inventory included. You can zoom on the screen using the mouse wheel then click and drag the screen around - this is very handy. Some items have odd names, like (Waste Paper instead of Crumbled Paper); others are missing letters (Love Lette); but it's not common and the hint recharges pretty quick for the few times you'll get stuck. Some texts are a bit odd ('Writers have a reputation for suffering from all sorts of maladies and delusions': Duh?! It sucks to be a writer apparently…) I've had a big problem with an item that I had to pick in a search screen which was nowhere to be found. Checking a walkthrough I was indeed missing a small band of the image, with no way to scroll or zoom there. Clicking on the very edge of the screen luckily picked up the faulty item. (the leaf in the church). When I had another search screen on the same place toward the end the missing bit of screen was there so wth? The story is okay, nothing to write home about though. The game lasted 3 hours, which is decent. The game isn't missing much to be good and I would have still recommended it on sale IF the bonus chapter was included. It is NOT.

Ok. Don't say this often but pass on this one. Unless your a huge fan of the genre and it's on a serious discout. Or in a bundle. Or free. You get the idea. The controls are wonky to start. Where you click, might not be where the game thinks you should click for starters. There's puzzles where you have to grab and move things that don't work well. Like really bad collision detection and hit boxes. Then there's the whole thing with activiating the bonus episode. Trust me the least said the better. On top of all that the game just kinda of sucks as HOG goes.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein Hidden Object Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen eine Frau, scheinbar Detektivin und geraten auf der Straße in einen Nebel wo wir die Erscheinung einer Frau sehen. Fast crashen wir direkt in ein Polizeiauto aber können gerade noch abbremsen, als wir dem Scheriff das ganze erklären wollen, hält dieser uns für verrückt und steckt uns ins Gefängnis. Natürlich wollen wir das nicht einfach so hinnehmen und brechen aus um der Sache selber auf den Grund zu gehen [h1] Gameplay[/h1] Es ist ein ganz typisches Wimmelbild Adventure mit recht vielen Wimmelbildszenen, die auch Spaß machen. Die Rätsel hingegen fand ich eher auf der schwachen Seite, einige waren zu unnötig kompliziert nach meinem Geschmack. Es gibt auch einige Fehler in den Wimmelbildern, in Form von Missgeklicke, man klickt auf ein Objekt aber das Spiel realisiert es nicht direkt, dies passiert des öfteren mal. Man muss in jeder Szene auch mindestens bei einem Objekt etwas kombinieren und auch das klappt nicht immer auf Anhieb, es ist jetzt zwar nicht super wild weil es ja auch keine Achievements gibt, die einem einen Perfekten Run versauen könnten aber es ist dennoch nervig. Die Deutsche Text Übersetzung ist an sich recht ordentlich gelungen, lediglich in einer Wimmelbildszene gab es einen Merkwürdigen Fehler, man muss eine Wäscheklammer suchen und diese ist auch dort aber eigentlich muss man eine Büroklammer finden, das war sehr seltsam aber daran sind wir ja auch schon gewohnt das es mindestens in einer Szene zu so einem Fehler kommt bei der Deutschen Übersetzung. Beim Tagebuch sind die Überschriften nicht Übersetzt worden da steht Notes & Tasks, das ist natürlich auch nicht weiter Wild aber das zeigt wie Lazy man sein kann. Voice Acting ist recht schlecht muss man sagen, selbst für ein Hidden Object Spiel. Wenn man das Haupt spiel beendet hat, bekommt man eine Nachricht das man nun das Bonus Kapitel spielen kann, dieses wird aber nicht freigeschaltet sondern man fliegt einfach aus dem Spiel raus. In der Community gibt es aber einen Fix um das Bonus Kapitel spielen zu können [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Story an sich ist OK + Wimmelbildszenen sind ordentlich + Die Deutsche Text Übersetzung ist überwiegend ordentlich gelungen + Sammelkarten +/- Die Minirätsel haben mir im allgemeinen so gut wie gar nicht gefallen (bis auf wenige Ausnahmen aber das ist ja Geschmackssache) - Es gibt einige Fehler in den Wimmelbildszenen bzw. Missklicks, was dazu führt dass das Spiel manchmal Klicks einfach nicht realisiert - Ton wird gegen Ende super Leise und man versteht kaum etwas was gesagt wird - Bonus Kapitel wird nach Haupt Story nicht Freigeschaltet, stattdessen fliegt man aus dem Spiel raus (sowas sollte sofort gefixt werden) [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein Hidden Object Adventure welches sich meiner Meinung nach anfühlt als ob es ein Mobile Port ist und auch noch ein ziemlich Fauler Port dazu. An sich wäre das Spiel völlig OK aber es gibt halt einige Fehler die Nervig sein können wie das nicht realisieren der klicks in den Wimmelbildszenen oder das Fehlende Bonus Kapitel. Nichts desto trotz hatte ich im allgemeinen schon Spaß mit dem Spiel weil mir die Wimmelbildszenen und die Gesamt Story schon gefallen haben. Honestly I loved this when I was younger but its worse then I remember, I don't know.

А мне понравилась игра. Нормальное там разрешение и глаза не "ломаются". Очень и очень жаль только, что бонусная глава не доступна. Учитывая это, цена должна быть много ниже. Или подождите скидку и покупайте.

ok, so i was going to write a full review, but i reached a point in which the game was acting weird. I got stuck, checked hints, the hint told me to touch the skeletons crotch, i touched the skeletons crotch, nothing happened, assumed it was a bug with the system and looked around for other stuff.... I searched up a playthrough, and realized i had already done the skeleton puzzle, and was supposed to get a valve, because i never got the valve I am now softlocked out of the game. This game is unfortunately not functional as of this time.
