Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator

very cozy and fun to play. i loved, and i usually don't like anything lol.

Iv played this game pretty much non stop for about a week now. Game Pros: Really hits the nostalgia button - Even as someone who was about 10 when the local Rental store shut down, this awoke memories for me Theres so many fun little gems, from the funny play on big name movie titles, to the "back alley" dealer Cons: Making money feels very slow throughout - I may have been playing it incorrectly (Although I dont know exactly how you can play a game like this wrong), but all early game, mid game, and late game, has all felt like an absoloute grind to make money. This CAN be a good thing, but for early game, generally I enjoy quick progression early on to hit the endorphins of getting upgrades early and fast. Early on I remember making $170 after grinding non stop, and i thought "Thats it?!". Now mid/late game, im making around $550/600 and thinking the exact same thing (once employee fees come out of that) I dont think current milestones are bad, maybe some extra smaller/easier milestones to tie it together Leaflet handing simulator - Especially towards later game, once you have your Tapes organized into catagories, go through them all to flesh out the 1 star movies, and have 2 employees, the game really just feels like "Leaflet handing simulator". For now in the game my day consists of: - Starting the day, and going afk to let my employee get ahead start on restocking the shelves (Sometimes I help but I hated that job so much lol) - Opening the store - Handing out leaflets - Checking if there was any "!" signs in the store while I restocked more leaflets since it only lets me carry 5 at a time - Continue Handing out leaflets - wait for the hours to stop passing (so the day has ended for customers) - Move some shelves around if theres a new event coming up where a different type of movie is suited for the front of the store - Repeat. This isnt always a bad way to play a game, but for late game, it definitely gets to fee a little stale knowing that (for now), THIS is what the rest of your gameplay will entail All in all though, iv thoroughly enjoyed mindlessly playing this game, considering firing the checkout employee just so I can play a little more and have something else to do in the game lol. I'm excited for the future updates to come!

wer in den 80ern und 90ern aufgewachsen ist, kennt solche läden! einlass erst ab 18! und ich war mächtig stolz, endlich mit 18 die videothek komplett betreten zu können (dürfen)! sonst durfte man sich nur im eingangsbereich aufhalten - wenn überhaupt. na jedenfalls macht dieses spiel total süchtig, auch lange nach erreichen des levels 24! es gibt immer eine neue kleine baustelle um hier und da was zu verbessern. es wird nie langweilig! momentan probiere ich ein paar mods aus (siehe screenshots) und bin schon ganz gespannt auf das kommende update! Absolut empfehlenswertes game! diese 20€ waren und sind gut investiert!!!
