Retro Rally

After the update, the game completely met my expectations. From time to time, I enter the game and challenge myself. My mind is clearing, it feels good.

I like the physics of the cars and the feeling of the old rally. Especially the lancer was really enjoyable for me, I was more happy that my favorite lancer model was the lancer model.

Ожидания были как от игры со стилизацией под старые ралли гонки, возможно с аркадной физикой. По факту же типичный представитель юнити поделок. Автомобилей много, из первых пяти машин разница лишь в скорости, Физика управления больше подходит для мобильных проектов. Подсказки с поворотами и чекпоинтами срабатывают уже когда ты в них находишься, т.е. когда от них уже нет толку. Соревноваться можно только с абстрактным таймером. Нужно проехать за определенное время карту, чтобы открыть следующую. Не понятно про каких соперников говорится в описании. И напоследок - визуал. Локации - пустое поле с заборами и редкими деревьями, иногда какие-то обьекты интереса вроде скелета из трейлера. В остальном поле полем. При этом ландшафт более полигональный? детализированный? чем авто. Машины разукрашены как будто в 420х340, а ландшафт в 720р. Бьёт по глазам.

A pesar de que mi ordenador tiene especificaciones modestas, el juego presenta problemas de rendimiento inaceptables: en ocasiones arranca, pero otras veces no, lo que indica una falta de optimización y pruebas adecuadas por parte de los desarrolladores.​ Además, la jugabilidad es inconsistente y frustrante. Aunque se promociona como un homenaje a los clásicos de carreras arcade, la realidad es que los controles son imprecisos y la física del juego es poco realista, lo que dificulta disfrutar de las carreras. Los tiempos de carga son excesivamente largos, incluso después de carreras cortas, lo que interrumpe el flujo del juego y añade más frustración.​ En resumen, Retro Rally es una decepción en múltiples aspectos. Los problemas técnicos, la jugabilidad deficiente y la falta de optimización hacen que este juego no valga la pena, incluso a su bajo precio. Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros jugadores que eviten esta compra y busquen alternativas más sólidas en el género de carreras retro.

$3 is a fair asking price. The mouse stays on screen when I'm using my controller, some of the buttons on my XBox controller aren't usable in game, the co-driver gives you directions way too late. If I had better music, car sound, and slightly brighter maps, I might've enjoyed it more than I did. For $3 it's alright. I wouldn't charge more until the fixes above have been addressed or people are going to start giving bad reviews.

The game has really become amazing after the latest update. I like that the developer is actively involved with the game.
