About
Captain Jase is a bounty hunter who keeps Dorai safe and gives planet Caloria hope as the GDI are fighting in a war protecting Caloria for what little they have left.
Your mission is simple, apprehend the dangerous outlaw Santiago:
Go from friendly citizens to corrupt individuals as you blast your way through the GDI officers and marauders that roam the desert or that are pitched up around the city.
Traverse this compact open world by strafing, sliding, jetpack boosting. . .
or maybe just jump in a hover car and drift around with ease, mowing down enemies as they pop up.
Whether you’re packing the laser shotgun, hauling the weapon of MASS DESTRUCTION or just strapping your laser handgun. There is no doubt an enemy is equipped to rush you at any moment.
Shooting down common enemies will become easier as you become stronger and more skillful. But gaining these skills will come in handy once you are ready to face Santiago. But after what you’ve done to him, he now only sees red.
Storyline:
Captain Jase and his other bounty-hunting allies are faced with an unrelenting outlaw named Santiago. Once Jase takes action and seems to have come up on top, Santiago returns seeking blood and revenge.

my experience with the game was positive mostly due to silly bugs and the vehicle physics. the very first thing i did was hit continue in the main menu upon opening the game for the very first time ever. its kind of a pet peeve of mine for the developer of a game to immediately have a continue and try to gaslight you into thinking you might have played the game before or something so anyways i hit continue. I load into the tutorial area but I am swimming, the door I need to go through is opening and closing super fast and isnt responding to my body but my ai companions body. i swim up to a door thats halfway open for the sliding tutorial and clearly now something isnt quite right, i am swimming through the air and I cant land or really do anything. main menu, new game. ok now I am running around and can proceed through the basic tutorial. the game uses super rigid stances or modes or states or whatever you wanna callem. if you are sprinting which is a toggle you cant equip your gun or enter the devil may cry melee lockon combat mode which i havent really messed with if you have your gun equipped you cant run or toggle melee combat mode. basically if you are doing anything you gotta undo it and enter a neutral state and then you can enter some other mode. pretty quickly you get a hover vehicle and you can make this thing fly pretty easily. the map is pretty large but nearly everything in the game is just functional to a point where its like hey this is a proof of concept imagine if you just injected this existing function with AAAA budget and talent, this game feels like something to put on your resume and go down the checklist of included features that all sound pretty awesome and in fact are but it's just just a portfolia piece. there are fully voiced cutscenes just because. so anyways you can feel the game kind of coming apart and for me it went bad somewhere around the bossfight with the mayor. a cutscene just stops, maybe because i re entered my vehicle during the fade out to the cut scene but it played for a handful of seconds before just stopping, then i had to puzzle my way though it by hitting escape, then the message that states for whatever reason you cant access the options while in a vehicle, might unload the whole thing and delete your guy who knows with the way this is setup so after i see that message i either hit a few more choice keys or i then notice the prompt for skipping the cutscene finally appeared because i was trying to do that initially with no success while it continued to play this time i was able to skip the cutscene and continue but that was the first taste of glitched menus piling up. after the boss fight I somehow get the options menu stuck as its own seperate thing. I can pull up a whole other options menu and use it but closing it or trying whatever i can think of doesnt tell both to close so now theres just an options menu over the screen, thats ok because it just does a blur depth of field thing and i can still kind of make out whats going on i just gotta drive to an objective probably. cant see the objective when im looking around so in my desperation to unstick the options menu I figured out i can get all the other menus stuck so i opened them all up and once i got the controls menu open which isnt transparent and takes up more than half the screen i was kind of screwed. there was another funny message about not being able to save during a bossfight which i just assume meant i needed to fully complete the mission or reach the objective or something before but quit simply wouldnt work as it wanted to do a save or otherwise get altf4d so I did that. i'm curious if the game continues much further and I could see myself checking out the melee combat. the scale of the game is pretty cool. the city I originally thought was just a background set kind of thing but its a full on city with poles you can knock down, pedestrians, cops. only thing missing from the city was any other car on the street and certainly no one driving one. boosting off rocks in the vehicles was a joyful experience and despite how buggy and messed up things are as of this review the framework and the checklist is well underway for features and the basis for another project or just making this thing way better. good job. picture of all the menus stacked up https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3547285628
