Respawn Man

I got this from a greenlight bundle, and I must say I'm very happy with the game and the developer's response to issues I had with the game, making great improvements not long after I reported issues with the game. This is the kind of indie developer we need! Regarding the game itself, it is as fun and satisfying as the trailer makes you believe. Controller support is near perfect (it would be better if moving through menus did not require mouse emulation, as that makes the mouse curser appear in the middle of the screen), jumping is precise and the amount of challenge is good enough. This is a very short game, but the bonus levels and level editor feature allow some extra gameplay time if you want more. It's definitely worth your time, and the dev really deserves your money! Pros - Precise platforming - Fun - Fair puzzles - level editor - controller support works very well Cons - Short (no problem for me, but some people want longer games) - music get repetitive after a while - had the game crash before being patched (works great now)

リスポーンマン。タイトル的にいわゆる死に覚えゲーに思えるが 基本的には残機制の、普通のアクションパズルゲーム。 自分の死骸を足場にして段差やトゲ床を越えたり カヌーにして川を渡ったりして先へ進んでいく。 何となくバカゲー・クソゲー臭が漂う印象だがまぁまぁ楽しめる。 トレカ・実績対応、日本語未対応だが問題なし。 ガイドを見ながらやれば1時間足らずで全実績解除できる程度の ボリュームしかないのに定価は高めなので、買うならセール時推奨。 面白くないわけではないし目立ったバグもないのでおすすめ評価。

Seven the number which is a symbol of divine abundance. In Respawn Man you have an abundance of lives. Jesus only respawned once. ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED. tl;dr: Yes. For those weirdos who read: This game is a deceptively simple looking puzzle platformer that's actually quite fun. I found myself dying a lot because I kept underestimating the levels and being hasty. Despite all my cursing and exclamations of "BULLS**T!!", every level is actually completely fair, you just might have to die a few times to figure it out. +Level Editor and a steam workshop full of extra levels, which will only grow larger. +Good background music +Red Shirt Star Trek Reference +One of the best backgrounds on steam imo: Death. (my current background) +Extremely responsive developer. Lets face it, there are some pretty sh***y Indie Devs out there, and this is NOT one of them. -Short, but +Fairly priced -Graphics are meh. Might be a plus if you don't have a good computer. The places this game shines most are it's interesting game mechanics. There are so many games out there that look so good, but are all clones of eachother. Respawn Man is a great way to kill a few hours.

I was looking for a crappy game to play... I was disappointed, I really enjoyed this game.

Good concept ruined by poor execution. The main problem with Respawn Man is the controls. You can't jump as you land which makes the platforming feel incredibly stilted and will frequently lead to you running off cliffs and into hazards. The graphics also take away from the enjoyment of the game. They look pretty bad, but that's easy to deal with; the main problem with them is that there is a lot of screen tearing. There is some fun to be had in respawn man to be sure, but it's short length (I beat the game in ~45 minutes) and multiple issues make it very difficult to recommend. Overall I would avoid this game unless it's already low price was heavily discounted, $.25 or less.

죽어도 부활하는 사내. 주인공은 죽어도 부활합니다. 물론, 제한된 영혼 이내에서만. 가시에 찔려 죽고, 독먹어서 죽고, 높은 곳에서 떨어져 죽고, 물에 빠져 죽고 등등 특이한 점은 시체가 남아 있는 상태에서 부활! 가시 위에 시체를 발판으로 삼아 지나갈 수 있고, 물에서는 시체를 배로 이용하여 건너갈 수 있죠. 높은 곳으로 올라가는 발판으로 이용하기도 합니다. 특이한 방식이지만.... 자신의 시체를 이용하기에 조금 복잡한 기분이 들기도 하는 게임이죠. 게임의 난이도는 그렇게 높지 않기에 1시간 이내 클리어 가능합니다. 마지막 레벨에서 고비가 찾아오지만.... 안될 것 같으면 재시작을 하면 된다!
