Resident Evil wieder in Peak Form nach dem Disaster von RE6 und das mittelmäßige RE5

I remember watching my favorite YouTubers play Resident Evil 7 when I was 9 years old. I wouldn't consider myself a loyal fan of the Resident Evil franchise like many others, but I've always enjoyed watching playthroughs of the games and the stories they tell are amazing to me. Now that I'm 18, I finally decided to play my first Resident Evil game, and RE7 immediately came to my mind. First of all, I'm thankful that the game still runs smoothly on my laptop, even at low graphics settings. It was refreshing to play a AAA game at a stable frame rate, especially compared to many modern games. Second, I love how the game mixes the concept of rot with traditional horror. The references to slasher and psychological horror films are neat, and I also appreciated the nods to the iconic endless hallways from Silent Hills: P.T, I feel like this game is one of its kind in the entire franchise. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gem of a game.
