Resident Evil 7 trouxe a franquia de volta às suas raízes de survival horror.
Até agora, esse DEFINITIVAMENTE é o Resident Evil com a platina mais difícil (tirando o RE0 devido à falta do baú mágico). O jogo tem uma história muito boa que se extende nas DLC's do jogo, que não são poucas. A campanha não demora muito para terminar, acredito que dá para terminar em uma tarde na real, mas a platina da campanha principal leva dias ou semanas dependendo do ritmo. As DLC's, embora muito boas, é certo considerar as suas dificuldades, como o 21 modo Survival +, o modo Joe deve morrer e claro, o temido Ethan Must Die. Contudo, embora hajam MUITAS dificuldades, o jogo não deixa de ser bom e cumprir o seu propósito: Ser o jogo mais assustador da franquia Resident Evil.
