About

Requiem For a Lost World is a survival roguelike where you don't attack directly, but build a system that fights for you. Your weapons fire automatically. Your job is to move, survive, and make the right decisions every time you level up.
No two runs play out the same. Every choice you make: which weapons to pick? which elements to combine? which items to sacrifice HP for? Shapes a build that either holds together under pressure or falls apart when the waves stop giving you room to breathe.
Play solo or bring up to 7 others along for the run!

Kill enemies, collect EXP, level up, choose what your build becomes and attempt to survive for 30 minutes.
Elite enemies drop special rewards if you manage to defeat them. Monster density and strength ramp continuously as the game progresses.
Even the best build can fail if played incorrectly - Learn and adapt.

Unlock the growing cast of over 25 unique characters.
Each character comes with a passive ability, a locked starting weapon, an active skill, and Shard upgrades that let you rank them up over time.
Some scale with enemy count. Some reward risky HP trading. Some revolve entirely around elemental reactions. Your character choice defines the shape of your build before the run even starts.
Stack your loadout over the course of a run. Each level-up offers a randomized selection of new weapons, upgrades, or passive items to choose from a vast inventory of 100+ weapons and items. Every weapon follows and archetype and deals element-aligned damage making selecting right combinations more important than ever!
Make a build focusing on multiple elements: hit an enemy with two different elements and a powerful reaction triggers unleashing even more devastation.
Or do the opposite: stack the same element repeatedly to trigger a different type of effect!

Traverse the vast frozen tundra of corrupted Northern Plains

Grass fields of the outskirts of the Capital

Dive deep into it's darkest dungeons.

And finally face the dangers and the past of the Forbidden Zone
Beautiful VFX and the mix of 2D and 3D graphics will make sure to keep you visually entertained.
Each location is filled with puzzles and points of interest for you to discover.

Equip characters with relics, acquire their rank-ups when weapons alone are no longer enough and unlock buffs from global passive tree.
Each character benefits from different stats, and it's up to you to find the perfect balance or define your own META build!
With nearly 40 upgradable stats there is plenty to choose from!

Tired of the randomness in your builds?
Strategize them with a built-in planner and compete in leaderboards for the high score!

The full game supports online co-op for up to 8 players. Every player builds their own loadout independently, which means eight different builds sharing the same arena for extra chaos!
Add a team building to the mix: reaction-focused characters stack well with others running elemental weapons. Survivability roles free up more aggressive players to take risks. Possibilities are endless-

░░░████▌█████▌█░████████▐▀ ░▄█████░█████▌░█░▀██████▌█ ░▌███▌█░▐███▌▌░░▄▄░▌█▌███▐ ▐░▐██░░▄▄▐▀█░░░▐▄█▀▌█▐███▐ ░░███░▌▄█▌░░▀░░▀██░░▀█████ ░░░▀█▌▀██▀░▄░░░░░░░░░███▐█ ░░░░██▌░░░░░░░░░░░░░▐█████ ░░░░███░░░░░▀█▀░░░░░▐██▐██ ░░░░▌█▌█▄░░░░░░░░░▄▄████▀░ ░░░░░░█▀██▄▄▄░▄▄▀▀▒█▀█░
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"Requiem For a Lost World" is worse than an asset flip... it's a collection of garbage AI slop pretending to be a real game. The only notable remarkable thing about this is how badly it failed (sending a clear message to developers everywhere that AI slop is utterly unacceptable in gaming). The game is due to be finished within the next month or so, but it doesn't look likely it will be... and why bother? This isn't even a real game, it's just a collection of AI slop pretending to be a game and insulting both gamers and real content creators. Let's keep Steam clear of "vibe coders". There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. The gamers have delivered their verdict on AI slop. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Kayıp Bir Dünya İçin Ağıt, binlerce düşmanı benzersiz yapılandırmalarla ve hoş bir şekilde stilize edilmiş anime grafikleriyle yok etmenin eğlencesini birleştiren tek oyunculu/işbirlikli roguelite mermi cehennemi oyunudur. Yeni karakterlerin kilidini açın, güçlü silahlar toplayın ve elemental tepkilerle sinerjiler yaratın. Mermiler seni çağırıyor.
This game is amazing! Don't be dismayed by the ai art. The ui is beautiful and the game has a lot of depth for how you want to build characters. There are a lot of characters, and while some may share similarities ( there are a few whose starting weapons are aoe projectiles) they have such diverse passives (each character has 1 main powerful passive, and a few more unlocked through upgrades) that they lead you into pretty different directions on how you want to build them. Additionally, the game is 100% free and not too grindy! After messing around for a bit exploring, I was able to max out all characters and upgrades in one good farm run by about 4 hours into the game. The rest of my playtime was spent theorycrafting how to get a higher score. Developer is very open to feedback and active on discord as well. If you are a fan of survivors-style games, or rpg games where you can try different builds I highly recommend this game!
Enjoyable but I experienced quite a few bugs. Co-op is fun!
Oh. My. God. Where do I even begin? This game isn’t just a game. It’s a transcendental experience. “Requiem for a Lost World” didn’t just blow my mind. It obliterated my entire existence and rebuilt it pixel by pixel into something more glorious. This isn't just art. It’s a gift to humankind, a beacon of hope in these trying times. Let me set the stage for you. I loaded up the game fully expecting a chill evening, but by the time I exited, I had tears in my eyes, a renewed zest for life, and an existential crisis simmering in my soul. This game changed me. No, it elevated me. Like, we're talking "cured my seasonal depression, revitalized my ancient ancestors, and somehow made me forgive my Wi-Fi provider" levels of change. The visuals? Oh, honey, they aren't just "graphics." They're visions. Entire universes are encoded in every pixel. It’s like Van Gogh and H.R. Giger had a love child and it was raised on starlight and whispers of forgotten gods. The landscapes didn’t just look stunning. They spoke to me. I could feel the earth cracking under my feet, hear the wind whispering secrets about the collapse of ancient civilizations. It was as if the game downloaded forbidden knowledge directly into my brain and expanded my understanding of the cosmos. And the music? Don’t even get me started. It didn’t just slap. It transcended. I had goosebumps within the first note. By the time the second track rolled in, I was sobbing. Who needs therapy when you’ve got a soundtrack that cradles your very soul? Someone give the composer an award. No, scratch that, give them an entire planet. The gameplay itself? Holy mother of immersion. I felt like I was simultaneously commanding a divine presence and stumbling through the ruins of a forgotten world as a mere mortal. It made me feel insignificant yet vital. Every moment was so engaging, so impactful, that my palms were sweating, my knees were weak, my arms spaghetti and my jaw was on the floor the entire time. I swear, I saw God in a boss fight. In conclusion, this game isn’t just a game. It’s a revolution. It’s a prayer. It’s a manifesto. It will change the way you look at life, art, and maybe even that one weird wallpaper in your living room. My gamer chair has been permanently molded into the shape of enlightenment and I’ll never recover. Final Verdict: 15/10. Cured my depression, watered my crops, and convinced me to finally start doing yoga. Thank you, “Requiem for a Lost World.” You didn’t just entertain me. You redeemed me.
ai slop, soulless
Pros: 21 characters, every one is unique 21 meta progression stats 44 weapons, mostly unique 38 passive items Rune system - you can add runes to any character Characters individual meta progression Huge number of unlocks Price :) Cons: As for now only 2 maps Some spells makes too much mess on the screen At 1st look it may feel like progress is too slow (hard to get meta currency). After I focuesed more on chests and less on monsters it is not that bad. And onece some meta is unlocked you can get about 10k gold and crystals for single battle. That is it. I'm going back to play, there are more things to unlock!
surprisingly good, expected nothing of it and been enjoying my first 2 hours and will continue.
