100% playthrough here: https://youtu.be/uMQsN8md4BM I really enjoyed the art in the game and some of the mini games were pretty fun, but I did have a problem with the game crashing every time the achievement window opened and sometimes when unpausing. The combat is pretty frustrating because it feels like until you get a pistol your best option is to stand and just trade with the enemy because if you actually dodge the enemy doesn't have enough of a wind up time for them not to hit you for free after you just dodged one of their attacks. I'm also not sure why some of the dialogue isn't translated I don't know if its to make you feel like you're more in the area, but it's actually a little bit frustrating. The achievements are pretty easy to get to so if you like 100%ing games this is a good one for that.
Patetico a dir poco.

Interesting concept, good art, but a bit weak in story and gameplay, and imo the price is a bit expensive, overall pretty decent for a first game. Futuristic cyberpunk Surabaya is definitely a unique background for a game and the high quality pixel arts really fit the theme. Unfortunately the character arts for the dialogues are very few only one art per character, it would be much immersive if there were multiple expressions and poses that fit the dialogue and situation. The combat is pretty basic but still fun, for me personally there are too many fetch quest the way is locked, go here to talk to a guy, go there to get item for a guy, get item to get a key, use key for puzzle, get another key to progress. It kinda get repetitive and adds unnecessary artificial length to the game, it's okay for variation but not too much. The story and characters are pretty interesting, the characters are enjoyable and the story has a bit of conspiracy and surprising but welcomed plot twist in the end. The worst part of it is the story is too short, I thought it's only the end of act one because it ends with the start of the main conflict so I really hope the story is being continued because it leaves a really big cliff hanger. I hope the devs don't give up on the game and continue to improve
Rendezvous is an ambitious cyberpunk adventure that succeeds by combining familiar futuristic themes with a setting and cultural identity rarely explored in the genre. Developed by Pendopo Creations and published by Hitcents, the game transports players to Neo-Surabaya, a technologically advanced version of Indonesia where towering neon structures, powerful criminal syndicates, and cutting-edge cybernetics shape everyday life. While many cyberpunk stories focus primarily on dystopian politics or corporate domination, Rendezvous places its emotional core on family, personal responsibility, and the consequences of past actions, giving the experience a more intimate and human dimension. The narrative follows Setyo, a former agent with a criminal history who has attempted to build a quieter life away from the chaos of his past. His plans unravel when his sister becomes involved with a dangerous cybercriminal organization, forcing him back into a world he hoped to leave behind forever. The journey that follows blends mystery, action, and personal drama, gradually revealing hidden truths while exploring themes of loyalty, regret, and redemption. The story remains engaging because it is not simply about saving someone from danger; it is equally about confronting unresolved relationships and understanding how previous choices continue to shape the present. One of the game's strongest achievements is its depiction of Neo-Surabaya. The city feels alive through its mix of traditional influences and futuristic technology, creating a distinctive atmosphere that separates it from countless cyberpunk worlds inspired by the same visual and narrative formulas. Every district contributes to the sense of a society undergoing constant transformation, where economic disparity, technological dependence, and organized crime coexist beneath glowing neon advertisements and crowded streets. This setting is more than a backdrop; it becomes an essential part of the storytelling, helping players understand the world that shaped the characters. Visually, Rendezvous makes excellent use of pixel art enhanced by modern lighting techniques and detailed environmental design. The contrast between bright neon colors and dark urban shadows creates a strong cyber-noir aesthetic that remains consistently appealing throughout the adventure. The city environments are packed with visual details that encourage exploration, while character portraits and animations contribute to the game's personality. The artistic direction demonstrates a clear vision and helps the game maintain its identity even when compared to larger productions within the genre. Gameplay revolves around exploration, puzzle-solving, stealth mechanics, and occasional combat encounters. Exploration is particularly rewarding because the game often encourages players to search for alternate routes, hidden information, and optional discoveries. Rather than moving from one objective marker to another, players are invited to engage with the environment and uncover additional details about the world and its inhabitants. This approach creates a stronger sense of immersion and makes progression feel meaningful. The puzzle elements are integrated naturally into the adventure. Many challenges require observation, logic, and careful examination of clues rather than relying on repetitive mechanics. These segments help vary the pacing and reinforce the investigative aspects of Setyo's mission. Some puzzles may require patience, but they generally contribute positively to the experience by encouraging players to think critically and engage more deeply with the environment. Stealth also plays an important role in many situations. Players can avoid danger through careful movement and planning, creating tense moments that fit the cyberpunk atmosphere. Combat exists as an alternative solution and offers a more direct approach when stealth is not preferred. While action is not the primary focus of the game, the inclusion of multiple ways to overcome obstacles provides flexibility and prevents gameplay from becoming predictable. This balance between stealth, exploration, and combat helps maintain variety throughout the adventure. The sound design and overall presentation further strengthen the game's appeal. The futuristic setting is supported by atmospheric audio that enhances both quiet investigative moments and more intense sequences. Combined with the visual design, the soundtrack helps establish a sense of place and keeps players invested in the unfolding narrative. The game consistently prioritizes mood and immersion, making Neo-Surabaya feel believable despite its science-fiction foundations. Rendezvous is not without shortcomings. Certain sections may feel slower than others, particularly for players expecting a fast-paced action experience. Some stealth sequences and puzzles can temporarily disrupt the narrative momentum, and the gameplay systems are generally more focused on storytelling than mechanical depth. However, these issues are relatively minor when compared to the strengths of the overall package. What ultimately makes Rendezvous memorable is its willingness to tell a cyberpunk story from a different cultural perspective while maintaining strong character-driven storytelling. Its combination of emotional narrative, immersive world-building, attractive pixel-art visuals, and varied gameplay systems results in an experience that feels distinctive and heartfelt. Rather than relying solely on futuristic spectacle, it focuses on the people living within that future and the relationships that define them. Rating: 8/10
the 1st thing 1st, the game is about futuristic Surabaya, my city that I live now I am happy since there a lot reference about Surabaya and so familiar places in the game what good + the story are good, the plot have some plot twist.
even if the ending kinda "to be continued" but I get the idea how the corpo think in cyberpunk style storytelling
+ the visual graphic 2.5D is nice to have it since they also add lighting feels modern and have future feels. + the audio, BGM, SFX good feels futuristic
but if I can give a comment it need more variation sometimes I it made me dizzy when solving puzzle with low bass music
what bad - the fight mechanism kinda sluggish, a bit not responsive. - there is no dialogue history, for story rich game I think the game need the history dialogue because sometimes we slipped our hand to push next button and it'll be bad if the clue of the puzzle on the last dialogue that we skipped what ugly * the language, this game basically using 3 languages. English, Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian), and Bahasa Jawa Surabaya (Surabayan Javanese) I understand their goal want to make something like cyberpunk 2077 which using a lot language. but the cyberpunk 2077, always give bold, highlight, or even auto-translate effect to make it different so player understand "oh they talking not-English word" but in Rendezvous they not give the any-difference this for me personally bit annoying even me understand the languages. * eventing, this game actually have a lot potential. but somehow the game cutscenes, events kinda not polished well. like in the loading screen the environment BGM stuck and keep repeating, in some cutscenes their cut not smooth but also have more flashing. if I could say this game is only steak without sauce and garnish give it a try this game, if you love cyberpunk theme games and you want to experience neo-Surabaya, it have a unique culture and somehow the puzzle also challenging
Sangar pol.
Really love the game! Bravo Pendopo Studio!
It's a potential game! Great Job Pendopo Studio! I'd say the game almost perfect, but there's some bug on Boat Scene after Setyo save Arum from enemies. The robot hasn't show on screen but the shoot still going to the boat. That'll be annoying bug from the game 8/10 👍✨
