About
Remembering Emily is a short visual novel in which Thomas, the protagonist, relives his memories of Emily—memories that led him to her tragic end… although they might not be as clear as they first appear.
Throughout the different chapters of Remembering Emily, Thomas will try to piece together what really happened. Each memory represents a possible path… and each path reveals a different truth.
The player’s choices are crucial in this story, as they lead to unique situations and two completely different—but complementary—endings.

If you want to uncover what truly happened with Emily, you’ll need to reach both endings. Only then will you understand 100% of the story.
While Remembering Emily features more characters than those shown here, this is a brief overview of the key figures in this tale of mystery and emotion:

Emily. She enters Thomas’s life unexpectedly and quickly becomes someone essential to him… even after her tragic end, which ties her forever to his memories.

Noah. Throughout the story, Thomas recounts to Noah—almost like a therapy session—everything that happened with Emily. Noah plays a key role in helping him reconstruct his memories.

Kate. Thomas’s coworker and secretly in love with him. She’s one of his closest friends and always by his side… even when Emily appears.

William. Kate's brother. He met Thomas by chance while developing an indie video game.

Seth. ???

Thomas. Through his eyes, we relive the past with Emily and discover why she left such a deep mark on his life.
Join Thomas on a journey through his memories and uncover the truth behind this emotional, mysterious story.
IMPORTANT: The story touches on themes related to violence, drugs, and weapons, although these topics are not explored in depth.

I highly enjoyed the first playthrough of this game but with no skip button it's too boring to read twice. One playthrough and everything is revealed. I give it a 9/10 for being excellent but with strangely formal and overly explanatory English dialogue that doesn't seem natural but is good enough cuz I liked this game and good hints for the mystery but a really really <spoiler> depressing <spoiler> ending but weirdly satisfying. I can't play the second half because there is no skip button and the text is just the same with a different flavor. It's worth playing at it's price but a little misleading with no skip button to get the second ending. It's also crazy right up to the end lots of twists and drama. I would like a skip button because I can't get the second ending and the second playthrough is basically the same now that I know the ending. I honestly think that it was obvious that the main character was .....something else when you play the game....and from a work from home perspective it was pretty obvious from what the girl was talking about what was going on...This is like what I think happens if you go for dating weird strangers on blind dates and online dating gone wrong.

Interesting story about going through memories. At the time of writing this review I have only gotten 1 of the two available endings. The characters were interesting with their dynamics and appearances. I had guessed one of the plot twists, but did not expect one of the bigger twists revealed at the end of one of the endings. There were a few typos, but that is chalked up to English not being the devs first language (I think), but they didn't affect my enjoyment of the story. One small thing I wish was in the game is the ability to skip/fast forward through dialogue that had already been read before. Going in knowing there are two endings I makes it quite longer to get to the other ending when you need to re-read everything again. 7/10
