- A fine, though bland sound compartment
- Graphics actually are kind of evocative (even though the house's living room really is abnormally HUGE...)
- An extremely tense, very halloweenian atmosphere, well handled in its occasional moments of black humour
- Jumpscares work (at least some of them...)
- A perfectly straightforward gameplay
- The core message is well handled to the very end
- Some really nice details (like the main character's real name...)
[h3]Cons:[/h3]
- Some dialogues feel kind of cheesy
- Most of the achievements... same as above
- The ending is a little rushed (especially the "plot-twist")
- More generally speaking, the whole thing could have used some more time to properly develop (I get how two-dimensional it all is, but still...)
- Keyboard controls kind of get in the way, especially in the final chase

- I do know there's a previous, free RPG Maker version of this game as well, named [i][url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1131540/My_Light_In_The_Dark/]My Light in the Dark[/url][/i]; but I already had the chance to look up a playthrough on YouTube, and let's just say... well, at least this one has some atmosphere (among the many thingies it did better)

Personally speaking, this game felt much less like a pixel horror version of [i]Rapunzel[/i] (that would be creepy-as-hell [i]Lavender[/i]...), than some sort of a remake of [i]Run[/i], the thriller movie with Sarah Paulson

- Per quanto blando, un gradevole comparto sonoro
- Grafica piuttosto suggestiva (nonostante il pianterreno della casa appaia a dir poco GIGANTESCO...)
- La tesissima atmosfera halloweeniana, ben gestita nei suoi frangenti di black humour
- I jumpscares funzionano (almeno in parte...)
- Un gameplay perfettamete logico nella struttura
- Il messaggio di fondo è ben gestito dall'inizio alla fine
- Dei bei dettagli (come il vero nome della protagonista...)
[h3]Contro:[/h3]
- Alcuni dialoghi risultano alquanto didascalici
- La gran parte degli achievements sono un po' pacchiani
- Il finale è vagamente affrettato (soprattutto il "colpo di scena")
- In generale, a tutta la faccenda sarebbe servito un altro po' di tempo per svilupparsi a dovere (capisco quanto sia bidimensionale il tutto, ma comunque...)
- I comandi da tastiera tendono a intralciare, specie sull'inseguimento finale

- So che di questo gioco esista una precedente versione gratuita in salsa RPG Maker, chiamata [i][url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1131540/My_Light_In_The_Dark/]My Light in the Dark[/url][/i]; ma ho già avuto modo di guardarne un playthrough su YouTube, e diciamo che... be', questo ha almeno quel briciolo d'atmosfera (fra le varie cosucce fatte meglio)

Personalmente parlando, più che una pixellosa versione horror di [i]Rapunzel[/i] (quella sarebbe l'inquietantissimo [i]Lavender[/i]...), questo gioco ricorda una mezza sorta di remake videoludico di [i]Run[/i], il thriller con Sarah Paulson
