I think King Doge said it best: "The last games were trippy, but this one is mega trippy" note: a controller is absolutely not necessary even though the game heavily recommends one. The game is so much easier if you use a mouse (the guitar mini games especially) I didn't expect much from the PC ports (I bought the original on Android eons ago) but not only is Beyond a well done sequel to the OG games, its minimalist retro art style is beautiful and the soundtrack needs, nay, begs to be played through hi-fi speakers. A charming, nonsensical, and very entertaining chose your own adventure masquerading as a "card" game.
