My Insect Girl Can't Be This Cute

Story about a mutant girl who finds a new friend and perhaps something more. You step in the shoes a young man whose life is not particularly exciting. The work at the store is dull, there’s nothing going on in the city, and you spend your free time watching anime. All of that changes when you learn about the latest trend. People became fascinated by leaving offerings for some kind of creature that appears to live in a nearby abandoned city. You do not believe it, but you still go to check what all the fuss is about. When you arrive there, your chances of seeing anything decrease because the offerings are just piles of rubbish. You throw your own offering on the pile in disappointment and head back home. But then something appears, and her name is Ophelia. She is a young woman with insect-like traits, such as four arms and mandibles protruding from her mouth while eating. She can barely talk and knows nothing about the outside world because the doctors, who are long gone, warned her it is dangerous outside. So she is been hiding beneath the buildings, eating scraps. The plot progresses fast after that. You and Ophelia become friends after she follows you home. Fortunately, your landlord and best friend is quite open about things and joyfully invites Ophelia to stay there. The game includes six endings, and your choices influence the story's direction. The game has three acts, but it is not particularly long. Because most adult visual novels, or visual novels in general, use the same engine, I won't go into detail about the technical aspects. All you need to know is that it comes with the ability to save the game at any moment and skip every bit of text right from the start. Of course, using this feature for your first playthrough is not recommended because it defeats the entire purpose of visual novels. I noticed that the text is displayed centered rather than on the left side of the text box. It makes it look like subtitles rather than a wall of text. The art is good, but the backgrounds appear to be photographs of real places, with excessive blur and a watercolor filter. Character art is decent, but you only get to see a few characters.

My first time playing this style of game and I enjoyed every second of it. The art is beautiful and cute. The story is cute and kept me guessing. I couldn't turn away until the very end. Of course that was just for one ending. I will definitely have to do a couple more plays to get the different endings. Though I'm not sure I could be mean to Ophelia T.T I wanna keep her in my pocket.

So, I just finished the game and here are my thoughts, overall I enjoyed it. However there are many loose ends left unanswered 1)Who are the "doctors" 2)Why did they make bug girls 3)Why did they smuggle out Ophilia 4)Why did they have to leave her 5)Why was that City abandened really I HAVE TO KNOW THE LORE!!! Allso the ending felt a bit forced and unnatural. But for 10 bucks, I think I got my money's worth. . . . P.S - BUG GIRLS RULE!!!

Yes, I plan on 100% this gem of a game.

It's a nice little game. First playthrough takes about 1 hour if you read everything and getting all ending another 2. I really like the hand drawn backgrounds.

Love this game, I played the demo not even a few hours ago and just realized there was a full version already out. There is also the 2.0 brought up and really looking forward to it. I thank you for making this game, and making a really good story. Also, the meme with the agents "Malaysia" was perfect.

Author blocked the sprites from looking in game files... Also the game is boring.
