REHAUNTED is a psychological detective horror game where you investigate a brutal crime scene inside a house filled with disturbing evidence, hidden secrets, and contradictions. Search the crime scene, uncover what really happened that night, and piece together a truth nobody wanted discovered.
Connor Raines arrives at a seemingly straightforward case: a young woman found dead inside her home.
But the deeper the investigation goes, the more the evidence begins to contradict itself. Blood traces, fingerprints, hidden recordings, personal belongings, and strange details slowly reveal a much darker story beneath the surface. Every room hides another piece of the truth.

Honestly this game deserves more love. The graphics are seriously impressive, almost AAA level, the story is really good and it’s only $8. I’m not going to lie I had the same bugs everyone else is talking about, and yeah it was frustrating. But the game literally just came out. These problems can be fixed. Give the devs a little time instead of destroying the game with negative reviews. I’m a dark artist myself so I know how much work goes into creating something like this. I’ve played dozens of horror games, and I can honestly say this one has a lot of potential and is genuinely good. Give the devs a day or two to fix things. The game is worth giving a chance

Let me get this out of the way first: this game definitely has its issues. I had to restart the game about three times just to progress because of different issues I ran into. That being said, my experience was nowhere near as bad as some of the other reviews I’ve seen. Outside of those problems, the game itself is pretty straightforward, and for the price, I’d say you’re getting a decent experience. One of my bigger complaints would probably be the dialogue. Some of the conversations felt pretty bland and could’ve used a little more personality. Visually, though, the game is beautiful. I have everything cranked up to the highest settings, and it looks and runs great. They definitely did a good job on that front. Now, as far as the scare factor, because let’s be real, that’s what we’re all here for I jumped maybe twice during my two-hour playthrough. Most of the other scares were pretty predictable. But honestly, I’m not too bothered by that. It’s hard to make a horror game that takes place almost entirely inside one house consistently terrifying without things eventually becoming predictable. Despite that, I still enjoyed my time with the game. The atmosphere was solid, it looked great, and there was enough here to keep me interested throughout my playthrough. Would I recommend it? Probably, especially if you have some extra money to spend and you’re looking for a shorter horror experience. Just don’t go into it expecting something absolutely terrifying or completely polished.
While some of the negative reviews here about bugs were likely valid at the drop of the game, the devs put out quick updates resolving a lot of them. There are still a couple small hiccups that I am confident the devs will resolve seeing as how responsive they have been to feedback, but I never ran into any issue that prevented me from finishing and enjoying the game. The jump scares were great, the graphics were wonderful, and the storyline and ending was not as I expected. I loved how I had to continually piece together the story and my chat and I had a great time hypothesizing the different potential endings throughout the entire game. I recommend this game to anyone that enjoys some more from their walking simulators that are not just exploring dark halls with random jump scares. I look forward to more games from this developer. Keep up the good work putting out new and unique content. Feedback for devs for patches: 1. Some of the numbers on the walls would not show up, or show up and disappear. Closing and reloading the game often fixed it 2. Sometimes the woman would appear only when she was right on top of you and there was no way you would be able to take a picture in time 3. When you are looking at an in game instruction that pops up explaining what to do, there was a time the woman attacked me while I was still reading the message. Consider preventing hauntings while in the in-game tutorial menus 4. At one point while inspecting the evidence board, a haunting started and I was glitched on the board and could not exit it to hide and was killed.
7800x3D - 4080 Super, 32Gb Ram. ---{ Graphics }--- Add Depth of field adjuster/remover rather than bundle a package of graphics options under just post processing. Depth of field in this broke the atmosphere making me feel blind at times and gave me a motion sickness. ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☑ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad (Auto blurring of the camera was shocking) ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- The game has potential, however static NPCs that don't react to the sounds or things going on break the immersion of the game - Jump scares became predictable and the Tips/tutorial did not pause game play but allowed it to carry on in the background causing me to miss either tips or things that happened. Dialogue wasn't gripping so story felt a little rushed to put together and decisions didn't feel like they had an effect. Sono una streamer, ho comprato questo gioco per giocarlo in diretta e il risultato è stata una serata completamente buttata dietro un gioco che non funziona dall'inizio. Bug in continuazione, meccaniche di gioco impossibili a partire dal mostro al quale è impossibile sfuggire. Il trailer non ha assolutamente niente a che vedere con il gameplay reale.
Also als aller erstens möchte ich sagen, dass mir das Spiel sehr gut gefallen hat. Die ganzen Negativen und nicht konstruktiven Kritiken, kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen. Das Game hatte ich live mit dem Stream gespielt und ich hatte 2 kleine Bugs: - Text am Ende überlappend - Ab und zu hat sich das Q Menü nicht bewegen lassen, bzw, man konnte nichts auswählen Ich musste weder das Spiel neustarten oder sonst was. Klar die Tante die dich da jagt war kein Zuckerschlecken, denn es war nervig das man gestorben ist, aber ja so sind Games nun mal, man sollte sich dir Zeit nehmen und herausfinden wie man ihr in den Poppes tritt. Wer keine Geduld sollte bevor er unkonstruktive Kritik äußert, einfach gar nix schreiben. Das Spiel hat: - gute und beklemmende Atmosphäre - gute Grafik - Sehr nice gesetzte Jumpscares - Story Line fand ich interessant weil man nicht sofort erkennt um was es da wirklich geht Also Leute, orientiert euch bitte nicht anhand der Negativen Kommentare, probiert das Spiel aus und gebt dem Menschen der sich anscheinen den Poppes aufgerissen hat ne Chance.
