GOATED WITH DA SAUCE GOOD GAME LOTS OF GUNS LIKE DOOM BUT ROUGLIKE UNDERATED 100\100 WOULD RECOMMED
So incredibly underrated. There are some games in my library that I'm almost always down to play because of how quickly they throw me into the action... Two clicks and I'm whizzing around the temple of GRUEL, vibing and having fun. I already know that this is going to be one of those games that I boot up at least once a month if not more, even several years from now. That's only true of, like... Two or three other games in my library.

Great game! Would HIGHLY recommend this game. A suggestion is that I would like them to add a sandbox gamemode and boss fights.
this game NEEDS bosses or progression, its far too repetitive. There is no meaningful sense of progression in this game, its a continuous loop of: enter room, fight guys, enter room, fight guys, enter room, fight guys, go to shop, repeat. its fun for the first few times but it absolutely needs some sort of progression. any boss, good or bad i dont care it NEEDS something.
this game is phenomenal, best indie game i ever played. the maker also really cares about his players and fixes bugs. NAILSHOTGUN SUPREMACY
So peak, well made and has obvious love put into it.
Gruel is an excellent game that deserves way more eyes on it. The cartoonish art style is fun, its gameplay is addicting and enemies are intense. I love the absurdist personality on display and it's one I'll jump into on occasion to do quick runs and challenge the leaderboard. It is all but guaranteed to miss out on the audience it deserves. I know that both Rogue-likes and boomer shooters are dime a dozen but trust me this is a great one. And that little bird guy playing the accordion in the shop who clearly has an insatiable hunger for my blood. Absolutely adorable in a messed up way.
Игра классная,но эти розовые глисты и их атака меня бесят
