This... This is such a game that exceed the level of masterpiece as a whole. Do you have kids ? No ? then time to get ones because they need to play this incredible game rather than ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game like fortnite. It really does what none other educational game haven't being able to do. having Fun while learning. As a parent, you won't regret to let your (future) kids play this Incredible piece of a game trust me. First thing tirst I'm going to talk about the story. In this game we go through the journey of timmy the boy who is trapped into a school alone, long lost and forgotten, timmy has to go through what is the most likely one of the worst thing in this world, Math, so he could get a chance to get out of this school alive. In his journey, he will find large amount of enemies trying their best to stop timmy to escape and achieve a good level in math. We can see the incredible character development of this timmy in question, going from hopeless and desperation little crying boy into a well shaped mozart pythagore master. lots of emotions and plot twist. If stories had a value, this one would be a value of an jaw dropping one, The ending is incredible aswell but no spoiler. Gameplay wise. Genius. When into your journey you're going to go through a series of questions of math. You have to choose the correct answer to go through your journey but they are enemies trying to get in your way, but you can counter attack, you can shoot, evade, shoot, evade, yeah that's a pretty neat stuff. And if you think you can just cheese the game in the questions section just by choosing all of the answers until you get the right one, then there is a well thinked solution to that: Mystery house, if you get 5 times an wrong answer you don't have a game over title and lose all your progress that would be unfun, rather than that, you have a last chance to continue your on going run by doing an all or nothing question with only one try, this gameplay element puts you some tension, trying to make you do math like your life was on the line. The gameplay itself could carry the game by itself but the other game element really make it Next level. Sound and art design No comments, just simply incredible, what can I say else ? I love the well together mixed of real life humans with drawing, it is really well made and achieved, i'm not really an expert art men (or whatever you call those people) but you don't need to be one to think that the art is incredible, sound design wise, man I don't how much they paid the sound engineer, but the guy did a hell of a job, the Satisfying sound when you get the right answer, or the dread and desperation sound of getting the wrong answer. The sound is so well made, that if there was a 24 hours of only this game sound in an video youtube, I would gladly listen to it and loop it until the end of time. In conclusion Red yet capers: Math & Mayhem IS a game that is 100% worth playing. You should play it, and you children and grand children should play it. 10/10
