Nice game
you can buy some crops for say 5 dollars, and then immediately sell them for 10 dollars, sometimes the animals just kinda break with no way of fixing it that i have found, been waiting for updates or something, but nah. i think the game is fun for what it is, but its too expensive for a game that has been abandoned and probably will never be picked back up
hat Suchtpotenzial

Red Tractor Tycoon, developed and published by upjers, sets out to capture the addictive charm of farming simulations while weaving in deeper tycoon-style systems. At its core, it invites players to step into the boots of a farmer with more than just a handful of crops to manage. Instead, it pushes you to expand into a full agricultural enterprise where machinery, production chains, and research all play pivotal roles. The result is a game that feels both familiar and experimental, balancing traditional farm activities with more ambitious management mechanics. The gameplay loop begins simply enough, with a tractor, a few basic fields, and the satisfaction of sowing and harvesting. Different equipment and attachments allow you to prepare the soil, grow crops like wheat and corn, and take care of animals. Soon, though, the game adds complexity by introducing greenhouses, water drones, and pump stations, all of which encourage players to experiment with more efficient and automated setups. The shift from basic manual labor to system-driven farming keeps the experience engaging, especially for those who enjoy tinkering with processes and finding ways to optimize production. One of the standout features is the emphasis on production chains. Instead of stopping at raw harvests, Red Tractor Tycoon pushes you to convert your goods into more valuable products—corn becomes popcorn, apples become apple sauce, flour becomes pancakes. This element elevates the game from a straightforward farming sim into something closer to an economic strategy game. Unlocking these chains through research adds another layer of progression, and the inclusion of odd futuristic touches, such as EMP devices and drones, gives the game a quirky personality that helps it stand apart from more traditional entries in the genre. The level of customization also contributes to its appeal. From how you arrange your land and fields to the choice of machinery and equipment, there’s a sense of freedom in how you shape your farm. Driving tractors directly adds a tactile feel to what might otherwise be an abstract management sim, and players can steadily transform their property into an impressive, self-sustaining business. For those who enjoy building and optimizing, the game provides enough tools to make experimentation worthwhile. Despite these strengths, Red Tractor Tycoon shows its limitations. Many players have noted that the game hasn’t received consistent updates, with development activity appearing to slow significantly not long after release. This lack of ongoing support means some systems feel underdeveloped, and bugs or balancing issues remain unaddressed. The core gameplay loop, while engaging at first, can become repetitive once you’ve explored the available crops and production chains. Without new content or refinement, the long-term appeal suffers, and players who thrive on continuous progression may find themselves running out of steam too quickly. The game also demands a significant amount of micromanagement, especially in the early stages. While later tools like drones and automated stations help alleviate the workload, the initial grind of managing every field and process manually can feel tedious. For some players, this level of detail will be part of the charm, but for others, it risks turning the game into a string of chores rather than a relaxing simulation. The learning curve doesn’t do much to ease players in, and it may feel overwhelming for those new to the genre. On the technical side, the presentation is functional but unremarkable. The cartoony art style is pleasant enough, but the visuals quickly become repetitive, with limited variety in assets. The interface works, but it lacks the polish and streamlining that could have made complex tasks easier to manage. Performance issues have also been reported, with occasional quirks and bugs adding to the sense of a project that needed more development time. Considering its mid-range price, expectations are moderate, but players hoping for a highly polished experience may come away disappointed. In the end, Red Tractor Tycoon is a game with interesting ideas and moments of real enjoyment, especially for fans of farming sims who also appreciate deeper economic layers. The freedom to experiment, the fun of building production chains, and the sense of progression through research give it a unique identity. However, the lack of continued updates, repetitive gameplay, and rough edges hold it back from reaching its full potential. For those who enjoy micromanagement and don’t mind some imperfections, it can still offer a rewarding experience, but it falls short of being a definitive farming tycoon game. It feels more like a promising concept that never quite received the polish and expansion it deserved. Rating: 6/10
