just a game if u have time to burn but its fun and its one dev with his first project
its good, and def has potential. there are bugs here and there (tried before jan 10th update), but they rarely get in the way of the gameplay, and the most common one, with the zombies randomly exploding, is actually funny. you get a lot of ammo for what enemies spawn in, which is unnecessary, and each weapon feels the same (only have 75k points) asides from sight and mag size. also same type of enemy (again, before jan 10th update, will update this review when i try newest update) over and over for each wave. other than that, i see potential and its a nice game to play when you are bored.
great gun-play, has potential btw the scope zooms out
really fun game for the price but needs work some features need to b tuned like the slow motion parts either need to b alot less frequent makes it hard and very long for later rounds or a option to disable them along with a more stable game bc i find some moments with exploding bodies to cause fps to drop alot and that would b a nice feature to disable for a more smother game but overall very simple and fun
Pros: - Good shooting system - Good animations - Entertaining - Very cheap - Unlocking guns is worth it cause each feels different. Cons: - Some maps have little to no lights, which can be annoying. - Sometimes feels clunky when exiting crouch and then going back to shooting. - The slow mo needs a better feedback when its happening, because it can confuse you while you're shooting making you think your gun has no bullets (maybe that's just me). - The number next to the gun is unnecessary and in some maps like Glitched cannot be seen, it's better if its gone IMO. Overall a fun game to play while on a discord call, and pretty entertaining, good job here! -7/10
good game
I haven't played much of red rage but its a pretty solid game, a few minor bugs here and there but the developer has fixed most of them since the game's shaky launch. The game definitely needs some progression type system, as after a couple of rounds, you have unlocked every gun the game has and there's no reward anymore, maybe some weapon skins or something similar would make it feel more rewarding. I like how there's ammo packs that drop when you headshot a zombie and it slows down the game, allowing you to get more headshots. More different types of zombies would be good, such as when you get to higher rounds some larger slower zombies appear, or some smaller faster ones, at the time of review there is only one type. Overall, the game is a tad repetitive however its very solid and definitely worth the £2.99 or however much it cost! Also please add an option to remove motion blur its just annoying.
This game is great although it has crazy potential if they added a ranking up system, gun customisation, different types of zombies, new maps, multiplayer, etc. It would be up there with the big zombie shooter games.
8 minutes in and i must say its fun, it gets boring easily but it's still something you could play when you're bored, settings are a bit weird to get around but overall I can reccomended especially for that price tag.
