Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

not a fan of fps.....that being said this game had one thing over HL.....music.......but both games had a game braking bug but this one is impassable and you shouldn't have to mod a game that you payed money for just for it to run prop if you want to mod it thats fine......................but you shouldnt
I like how if you look at the bounty posters throughout the game, they just keep getting higher the further you get

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

one of the best FPS games from the early PS2 days to bad this version is broken in some places during the missions
After being a massive saints row fan and wanting to check out volition's other games, I realized I own all their games on steam. I decided with their closure, I wanted to check out what else Voltion worked on other then saints row. Red Faction is not a gangbanger simulator but instead a space miner simulator where you gotta join a rebellion to fight against the evil corporation known as Ultor. The story for the game is pretty barebones which is kind of disappointing when other games from around this time had full blown stories that were actually interesting. The story that was there was pretty good and the character and dialogue does have that volition feel to it. This game feels pretty similar to Far Cry 1, from the guy who talks to you seriously sounding exactly like the guy from FC1, to the whole concept of someone giving you orders via a radio, The graphics for this game are beautiful if you play with a source port. I played with Alpine Faction which fixes alot of the bugs when you play on a higher frame rate and it was running at a buttery smooth 240 fps (not like I had doubts due this games age), It runs beautifully on Linux as well. You just need to get a 1.0 ,exe but the launcher gives you instructions on that. The gunplay for this game is extremely satisfying. It's basic but it definitely works. The different guns you can have in your kit give the game alot of variety and you will definitely have to come up with strategies in the later part of the game. The only disappointing parts about this game is the difficulty and the softlock towards the end of the game. Even on normal, you will get one shot by the rail gun. It also sucks that the AI has pretty good aim and will one shot you even through a wall. Also the artificial scarcity of medkits towards the end of the game is also very disappointing. Luckily if you're good at FPS games this game will be a cake walk on normal. The softlock is another issue. The game never tells you to do the objectives in a certain order, it encourages you to play how ever you want and do the objectives in different orders. This only applies to the other parts in the game except the space station. DO NOT DESTORY THE REACTOR BEFORE DESTORYING THE COMPUTERS OTHERWISE YOU WILL NEED TO START THE LEVEL OVER WITH A CONSOLE COMMAND! All in all I enjoyed my time with this game, it's fairly short but I expected that especially with its age. I'm excited to see the rest of the franchise and see what's in store for me. I give it 8/10 🍕 slices and its definitely dad certified.
El juego es bueno pero tiene problemas por ejemplo el del submarino no importa que haga y como logre intentar sacarlo siempre explota.
Это одна из лучших игр, в которую я играл в детстве. После повторного прохождения получил очень много хороших воспоминаний
Probably one of the greatest FPS. I still yearn for destruction, pure destruction. This was the first and still some of the best in an fps.
nice
«Обожаю эту игру — в своё время она просто взорвала мозг! Главная фишка — разрушаемость: можно буквально перекроить уровень под себя, простреливая стены и обрушивая конструкции. Сюжет про восстание шахтёров на Марсе цепляет, арсенал крутой, да и миссии разнообразны — есть даже управление техникой. Для своего времени это был настоящий прорыв, и даже сейчас ради атмосферы и механики стоит попробовать!»
