I gave the game a chance. The game gave me a stomach ulcer.
What can I say about this terrible excuse for a game, other than the controls stink. I felt like I was skating around on ice when I was controling the guy. I don't know if playing this game with a controller would make a major difference since there doesn't seem to be any support for them. I really feel sorry for people who paid more than the $2.30 I did when I got this game in an IndieGala bundle.
---Update--- 6/11/2015 Cards are finally enabled for this game and there are 8 [out of 15 for the badge] of them to collect. I've played the game and did not enjoy it. Now I can leave the game open to get the 8 card drops. ---Update--- Steam store page lists Steam Trading Cards. No card drops after 8 hours. Something is obviously broken or the game was published claiming to have a feature it clearly doesn't
Bought it because it said it had Steam Cards. It doesn't. Tried to play it to get something out of it. I bitterly regretted my decision. My main regret is that there is no way to completely remove a game from your library, so it'll always be there, staining it with its very presence. This game is that bad. PS: it now has actual Steam Cards, so I'm not as disappointed as I was.
Red Bit Ninja: OK I have to say I like the look of this game I really do. And I'd like to be fair on my thoughts about the game. The problem for me is I don't possess the naturally ability to play platformers. I lack the required dexterity, patience and sometimes interest to keep at it. The game itself is fairly simple - walk, jump and a double jump activates a ninja 'hook' which you MUST use to pass obstacles, traps and obtain coins. I think I scored this game in a bundle, as I don't think I would have willingly purchased it - not because it's bad, because I suck at platformers. So the positives for me are cards and achievements (but I can't seem to get past the first level!), so the achievements are largely pointless - maybe one of my kids can have a go on my behalf :) Look, if you like platformers buy it on special - otherwise stay away. 7/10 (if you ignore my sucking at platforming)
I to byłoby dobrym pomysłem, gdyż nieresponsywne sterowanie, irytujące błędy i nieprawidłowo działające mechaniki wzbudzają we mnie chęci destrukcyjne.
The controls are really, really bad. Movement is way too slidey, it doesn't feel like I'm actually in control of my little, red ninja. It seemed like there was a lot of soul in this game from the trailer and screenshots, but I won't get to experience that due to poor controls and bad menus :/.
