very fun game could not put it down.
This game gets extremely tedious after a time, and I wish I would've seen the AI disclosures before purchasing last year. This game has the potential to be a lot more fun, and if they removed the AI and replaced it with Human made artwork and changed the sorting minigame so I stop getting carpal tunnel, I'd change my review to positive.
Man denkt erst: „Ja gut, Müll sortieren. Klingt ja unfassbar spannend.“ Und dann sitzt man plötzlich drei Stunden später da, hat seine komplette Recyclingbude optimiert, Maschinen umgestellt, Zeug sortiert und freut sich ernsthaft darüber, dass der Müll jetzt effizienter durch die Halle läuft. Ich weiß auch nicht, wann genau mein Leben an diesen Punkt gekommen ist. Das Spiel ist herrlich entspannend und gleichzeitig genau gefährlich genug für Leute wie mich, die bei sowas sofort anfangen, alles möglichst ordentlich und effizient aufzubauen. Aus „ich teste das mal kurz“ wird sehr schnell „Moment, wenn ich die Maschine 30 cm weiter nach links stelle, spare ich Laufweg!“ Grafisch natürlich kein AAA-Wunderwerk und hier und da merkt man, dass noch Luft nach oben ist. Aber das ist mir ziemlich egal, weil der eigentliche Spielablauf einfach Spaß macht. Sachen einsammeln, sortieren, verarbeiten, verkaufen, verbessern und wieder von vorne. Klingt stumpf. Ist es teilweise auch. Aber auf eine sehr angenehme Art. Kurz gesagt: Ich habe Geld bezahlt, um virtuellen Müll zu sortieren und bin damit erstaunlich zufrieden. Kann man empfehlen.
I've played this game a lot, but with the latest DLC, little things that used to just be a little annoying have become unbareable for me. The fact that your hired staff don't get big items, means when they go to pick up e-waste you get 100 little things, which are impossible to pick up because the hitbox for them is the size of a damn needle. So when I go to sort it, which I'm doing in pitch black already, as soon as I get to a section of e-waste I get bombarded with a zombie horde of little things that are simply not possible to deal with. Screen tearing has also increased significantly, and it was already bad performance wise if you were trying to run your factory with the conveyor belts. I know I'm not running the latest 5090 monstrosity, but I should not need to when I'm playing on the lowest possible graphic settings.
Gameplay loop does get repetitive very quickly, but overall is still good. I would say to grab it when it has a discount and give it a shot
