This game is crack.
This game is very fun. I recomend this game for everyone. I like games with challenging puzzle
I've got a soft-spot in my heart for cute pixel art & satisfying little puzzles, as seen in Recursion Delux. Though I was gifted a key, I'd still say they're asking a fair price for the amount of levels / content there is. I played about 1 1/2 hrs and would play another session again in the future. Nostalgic feel with classic, adorable art + levels & I was impressed to see there's a cool level editor too, so you can make your own levels & share them with your friends who can play them. I had a good time - thx for the fun game Devs! Also, I didn't notice any lag (in response to some other comments) .. almost instantaneous respawn so pretty much no wait time during loading. I kind of liked the endless lives thing - helped me conquer my fear of death 😂 My playthrough: https://youtu.be/JVTmMwbnwPQ
It's not bad, and decently fun at least until the second half of world 4. The stages where everything is on one screen are fun, even when you die over and over. The stages that are spread out on several screens that you access by going through doors are... less fun. They get very convoluted and the whole puzzle is about figuring out which key to pick up and which door to go through in which order. Pick up the wrong key or hit the wrong switch and you start over. And over. And over until you figure out the sequence it wants. Or, there is a tricky, time-consuming puzzle on screen 1, then you go through a door and there is another tricky, time-consuming puzzle, then a third. Die on any screen and start the whole stage over. I finally lost patience on stage 4-10. Only 5 stages left to go and I doubt I will ever finish it. It just quit being fun for me. Up until then, it was fun and worth the $5. I got close to my benchmark $1 per hour of fun out of it, so it's a recommend.
After nearly 10 years, the developers have fixed the memory leak issue, so the game is perfectly playable now. Massive respect!
Very colorful and cheerful puzze platformer with a lot of mechanics for you to discover. A simple game done right.
BEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!
I didn't have many expectations (I had never heard of the original 2012 Flash game) and I've been pleasantly surprised by this puzzle-platformer based on a simple wrap-around mechanic: getting to one edge of the screen causes the player to re-enter from the opposite side. Other mechanics are gradually introduced, including gravity changers, and keys to remove blocks of the same color. The level design is really good, with plenty of nice and sometimes pretty clever puzzles; initially they are mostly single-screen levels but their size starts increasing to two or more screens at a time. As they become more complex, careful planning of moves becomes necessary: for example, often just getting the keys is not enough, they must also be collected in the right order, or you may remove a platform you need to reach some other key or switch before you can even make use of it. Dying forces to restart a whole level but there are infinite retries. Most times it's not annoying, but becomes so at the end, where the longest level also introduces an unexpected last mechanic: an escort mission of sorts. The other selectable character is found and follows the player, repeating the same movements and jumps with a little delay, which makes careful planning and timing imperative, and the possibility of dying much more likely. It could have frankly avoided such a peak of frustration but for most of its duration the game is really pleasant to play. On top of that, in 2025 the developers have re-emerged to update the game after a long time, and more has been announced recently for 2026.
