About
Out of cash, out of luck, out on the fringe. Juno Markev has a killer to tail, a debt to pay, and more trouble headed her way. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw takes place in a greasy, blue-collar world of outlaws, truckers, cops and thieves.
Strap into a variety of spacecraft, settle a score in a filthy space-bar over a game of 8-ball, rock out to over 24 hours of music, and engage in white-knuckle dogfights.
In the Dodge Sector it’s hard to get by – and even harder to get even.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is an open-world space combat adventure game, spread across the nearly 40 systems of the Dodge Sector. Play as a mercenary, a trader, a pirate, or whatever mix of the three you feel fits you best. With an engaging storyline and a full conversation system, you can follow the narrative, or ignore it and forge your own path at any time.
Engage in white-knuckle combat, and use the included Autopursuit function to effortlessly fly like an ace, instead of space-jousting for hours. Save up your credits, buy a new ship, kit it out, and then paint it in a fully-fledged 3d-painting application. Make a fortune exploiting lucrative trade routes. Join guilds, help or hunt those in distress, buy and outfit your own space station. Grab a tip in a local bar and hunt hidden treasure. In your down-time, shoot some 8-ball, play some dice-poker, or aim for the high-score in an arcade game in the local seedy watering hole. Flip through the 7 included radio stations and vast music library for just the right track to fit your current mood.

Simply put, if you want modern Privateer, this is the game you’ve been waiting for. It’s literally Privateer, but modernized. 11/10
A lot more fun then I expected it to be. Privateer's spiritual sequel.
This game is largely just busywork. The ship combat largely boils down to scanning, locking on, and then holding mouse 2 while occasionally firing. That is when it isn't "here's ten pirates that all fire on you at once and you die instantly, lets reload you back to twenty minutes ago." The entire vibe feels fake. I don't feel like some rugged space adventurer, I feel like someone pretending to be one. This game is like if you took the ship mechanics from Starfield and just made that the entire game.
TL;DR 3/10 just boring I've tried to play this game four times, each time I get about 20 minutes in and give up. It is just so boring. There is none of the charm of the first game. The switch from capital ships to fighters was just the worst call they could have made. Unless you are mega into ship to ship fighter style combat, just skip it. Go play Underspace instead.
Нудная , скучная игра , трата времени в пустую . После No man sky в это ..... играть невозможно .Хорошо хоть по скидке взял данный "Шедевр")
I loved the original Rebel Galaxy and I really enjoyed this one. Music in the game was amazing, as music pumps your adrenaline during dogfights. The game would benefit greatly with a DLC /expansion pack, mostly to change the ending a bit. But good game! Love upgrading gear, special missions to get access to a specific shop or gear. Adjusting your tactics to take out a large group of enemies. World size was big enough and the different tasks/missions was plenty (some what repetitiv) so you could upgrade and continue the story.

Well I finally got around to playing this game, and I like it. I cut my teeth on Star Raiders and later Wing Commander 1 and 2. I was a big fan of space combat games, but kind of gave up on the genre in the early 2000s. I did not want to play with keyboard and mouse, and they stopped making joysticks, and my Logitech Wingman X-Treme broke, and I was kinda broke. But now that my kids are teens I feel like I finally have some time to dip back into the genre some. This one is the first one I'd actually recommend. It's highly entertaining, feels good to play (I have a T.Flight HOTAS One now), and apparently you can get 100 hours out of it without even noticing. It's too bad the mod tools were never completed, because it seems like the underlying game is pretty robust. Sure there's a few glitches here and there, but it never crashed on me, has a fluid framerate, and it loads pretty quickly. I did some digging on Double Damage, and they just kind of gave up after releasing the game. That's too bad. I'd love to see a sequel that actually moves the genre forward, rather than just act as a love letter to Privateer. You can see the potential with squadmates, capital ships, and space stations. If you like games like the Wing Commander series, the X-Wing series, or space combat arcade games in general, I say give it a shot. I had way more fun than I thought I would with it, in spite of its flaws. I didn't use the auto-follow feature at all after trying it out. I've played a lot of this type of game, and I can find a target pretty easily. It felt too much like cheating, so I just unmapped the feature from my joystick. It's too bad only 1.5% of people ever get the Stick Jockey achievement. It opens up The Last Starvenger mission which leads Juno into a quasi-dangerous promotional stunt. Some of her best lines are voiced during it, I think.
Bought RGO and RG on sale as a bundle. Enjoying my time in the original, so I wanted to give this a shake. I think this is 100% not really a game for me, at least from getting used to the first. The most notable thing out of my 1.4 hours in, I've spent almost the whole time fighting the controls. Would I have probably had a more favorable opinion NOT being on M&K? Probably, yeah. Also, menus feel exceedingly clunky and confusing to navigate. Window shopping upgrades isn't fun at all. Want to compare two different items? Hope you're memory is good, and you don't mind quite a lot of button presses. Want to window shop a different ship? Prepare to have a salesman thrown at you. Does it add character to the game? Yeah, kinda, but I didn't really enjoy it I totally like the 3rd person view of the original over this. Yeah, the second ship takes up quite a bit of the screen in the original, but it doesn't feel nearly this claustrophobic. Honestly, I don't think I could recommend this game in any way. I was going to say, play this one first, but then you probably thing the other one was just as bad as this, and not get into it. Play the original Rebel Galaxy, forget about this one.
Great old school space combat.
