Remember, sometimes if the product is free, YOU are the product.[/quote] While the concept of a remote control plane simulator might seem novel, we have to remember on Steam there's real live actual plane simulators. Also, the focus of this sim is twofold: PvP, and gouging gamers with disgustingly paygated content... this costs an eye watering SEVENTY TWO UNITED STATES DOLLARS in toxically priced DLC. Yeah, for that money you could buy the professionally developed Flight Simulator X... so this nasty pricing comes across as a bit of a scam. And this is nowhere near Flight Sim X and similar professionally developed flight sims. It's full of bugs, there's credible reports of suspicious activity from the game (malware/DNS highjacks etc). This isn't worth the risk. So, "RC Plane 3" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This game is fairly dated at 8 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. You're expected to pay up $72 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.

Плюсы: реалистичная физика — поведение самолётов близко к реальным моделям, что ценится энтузиастами; разнообразие техники — несколько типов самолётов с разными лётными характеристиками; свободные полёты — можно тренироваться без ограничений и исследовать локации в своём темпе. Минусы: крутой порог вхождения — новичкам сложно освоить управление и понять нюансы аэродинамики; устаревшая графика — визуальное оформление выглядит скромно на фоне современных симуляторов; ограниченный контент — мало миссий и локаций, быстро исчерпывается новый опыт. Итог: игра подойдёт любителям авиамоделирования и реалистичных симуляторов — она даёт почувствовать управление радиоуправляемым самолётом и оттачивать пилотажные навыки. Хороший выбор для энтузиастов, но может не устроить ищущих яркую графику, богатый контент или аркадный, упрощённый геймплей.

Это игра, которая явно сделана на юнити, людьми, которые про 3Д графику слышали только от знакомых. Выглядит всё просто ужасно. Надо отдать должное одному гейм дизайнеру в их команде, который пытался проработать гейм моды, но это получилось очень посредственно в силу того что он один. Создателям могу посоветовать только сменить движок, они сами знают на какой и купить 5-10 готовых локаций для полётов, а не этот хлам что у них сейчас. И доработать виджеты на экране когда ачивка выполняется. Система ачивок в целом ок, но на уровне детского сада. Поэтому моему сыну 6-ти лет понравилась, но он задрот как и я, поэтому скорее всего не понравится почти никому.
