About
Taking place in a tank suspended upon a cosmic wonderland, five axolotls appear one day from a mysterious, thundering void. They quickly learn they are able to speak with one another, and relationships are formed. However, something is off. Each axolotl seems to possess knowledge they should not know. Foods, and people, and places and concepts...
And obsessions.
Amid conspiracies, illnesses, fights to the death, VR headsets, and bizarre reality switching, a figure named [RB] seems to be pulling the strings behind it all.
•Variety is the spice of life, and with RB: Axolotl you never know what to expect! There are more realities out there than just the tank...
•Press ‘S’ at various points in the story to perform the world's greatest somersault!
•A meticulously crafted universe full of lore, rewarding detail-oriented players.
•Dynamic movements bursting with personality! Each animation is handcrafted with care and love, and no scene looks the same.
•Plot twists, revelations, and hefty battle scenes are in store for those who take their first steps into the tank.
•A catchy OST by a variety of artists.
•Written and programmed by one individual. A true passion project.
This is an emotional tale that I built with all the passion and love in my heart.
Despite its cute art style, the visual novel RB: Axolotl is intended for mature audiences only.

I enjoyed my time with it, it made me cry twice and overall I would recommend it.
Cute and kinda demented. I did not expect the layers that the story line has and I very much enjoyed that. The way everything fits together in the end is great. I wont say much more about the story because I don't want to give anything away but it is not what you would think by looking at it. The achievements were the sprinkles on top of the creepy icing on this well thought out cake.
this game is an experiencence, it's so weird and wonderful! It has so many twists and turns and the characters are so cute.
axolotls go brrr
Damn it has been a while since I've visited this game, I remember that I was absolutely mesmerized by the characters and basically everything else. I was almost sure that I've made a review, but I guess not, so it's time to do that. Okay, so I should probably make it clear that this game is not for everyone, but if you're into creepy stuff (I know this sounds redicilous coming from an axolotl game but hear me out) I REALLY recommend giving it a try. Play the demo, see if it's your type of thing or not, and if it is just jump right into it. The characters are likeable, the mystery surrounding it is captivating, the whole thing is just an underground masterpiece that deserves more attention. Anyways, I really liked the game.
Cool game
This game absolutely changed the way I experience life..
This VN deserves more positive reviews. Drags a little in places, but it has a few novel elements and changes in tone scattered throughout which helps to keep it engaging. The tone gets very dark in places, which isn't for everyone, but the story has a satisfying conclusion. It ultimately tells a fairly well paced story that takes its time foreshadowing the plot and revealing important details.
Here's a positive review to undo the pointless negative reviews that complain that this game, which already has a warning about saaad topics, has sad topics. It's like reading Corpse Party and being like "I 100% would not recommend this to anyone who dislikes seeing corpses :(("
It's a very, very genuine story filled with a really cute cast. The story might not be for everyone, and personally I thought some scenes to be too edgy, but if you like the Demo, I can say for sure it's worth reading the rest! Give it a bit of patience. It made me teary and changed how I perceive certain things in life. It wraps up in a very nicely, satisfying way that answers most if not all mysteries in the game. And it made me want to see more of the Axolotls! The "indie" part of it really shows, but the art is really cute, and the whole aesthetic is a very fresh take on the genre of visual novels. There's lots and lots of movement and dynamism for what's usually a very still genre, which I deeply appreciate. I'm glad I gave it a try.
