Thank you for making this. This is one of the most clunky, badly designed, full of holes game I played in years. Yet, the charm is so powerful that you dont care. It managed to bring back my memories of spending summer break in my grandmas house. I didnt expect that. I admit that I am crying a bit right now. Its rare to have a games so honest, simple and elegant. Most games dont aim at delivering such quiet and slow emotions. I am happy I played this game. Make yourself some tea, sit down and try it.

I bought Rainy Season on sale for about 3€ and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend paying more than that (if anything, I’d say even less). It’s a sweet little cozy game with a warm, relaxing vibe. The art style is charming, and the music fits perfectly, creating a calm atmosphere. The game only lasts about 20 minutes, but it’s lovingly designed, and you can tell some care went into the small details. That said, I have to be honest: it feels more like a paid demo than a full game. Yes, you can keep walking around after finishing, but there’s nothing left to do, it’s essentially pointless. For free, it would be a nice, short experience, but as a paid product it’s just too short and unspectacular to recommend. If you love cozy vibes and find it on a heavy discount, it might be worth trying. Otherwise, I’d skip it.

Oh it is really good. A warm hug of a game. Beautiful aesthetics and music. Nostalgia prepared and given to you with complete authenticity. Get lost in someone else's memory of a rainy day in 2004 Japan as a young boy. Get lost in daydreams and the boredom of being locked in the house.
