Great game
ottimo
Railway fans will definitely enjoy this one. I think the 2nd one overcomes some of the control issues and makes it easier to play. But grabbed this at a discount, and totally worth it for my Railway dopamine boost lol. Really enjoying it, got DLC for Japan which adds the Japanese map and makes it more interesting to play.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i just love this game
It's a good rail network game, but ultimately not for me. Was looking for an alternative to Transport Fever while waiting for the third installment. This somewhat fits the bill - it's more complex in some ways but overall more forgiving I'd say. The pros - there's way more products and industries to haul, trains require maintenance or they'll break down, supplies or they'll slow down and there's AI opponents to compete against. The cons - You can't have one more than one train on a line, if you want to expand your operations on a line you need to clone it, creating a copy of that train that has to be managed separately. You can't customise the cars to fit your needs, trains automatically summon the cars they need at each station. The UI and UX were designed with consoles in mind so they're often clunky to use. The AI builds track spaghetti that makes you want to gouge your eyes out. The meh - I didn't really vibe with the research tree and its incremental upgrades. The staff system seems cool but once you get into the midgame it's basically an annoying pop-up advertising bozos you don't care about. The AI's voice lines about sabotaging you are more annoying than the sabotage itself, but I understand that is a difficult thing to balance. As I said, a good game, but not what I'm looking for. I don't regret checking it out to see a different take on the genre.
