About
Set in a huge open world reminiscent of the Americas during the golden age of steam trains, Railroads Online puts you in the role of a pioneer helping to shape the future of America. Build tracks, traverse vast landscapes in various steam locomotives, transport goods to earn money, and customize and buy new locomotives and equipment as you grow to become a railroad tycoon. Play alone or with up to 15 friends in the online cooperative multiplayer mode on 4 different large maps including Lake Valley, Aurora Falls, Pine Valley and Mesa Plains.
Tracks, trains & more
Design your dream rail network from the ground up. Explore the world, scout the best route and lay down embankments, switches, turntables and more. Select and build tracks, bridges and other infrastructure buildings afterwards. Then cross the vast, open landscape in finely detailed locomotives and wagons. Interact with regulators, valves, brakes, couplers, and many more features in first-person view as you drive your vehicles. But you won't simply be driving around aimlessly! Your mission is to build up your company by transporting goods across the country, including timber, ore, coal, cattle, gold and other various freight items for a broad variety of industries. Earn money for every successful shipment and invest in new vehicles or upgrade and customize your existing locomotives. Plus: build stations, yards, and other infrastructure along your routes to service your trains with fuel, water, and sand. You can also build up a wide variety of iconic buildings and objects to create a beautiful surrounding for your railroad network.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

funny game only bad thing is it takes the rest of my disk space but it is funni cause of the trains go flying and thats funni am i brain dead yes
12/15/2024: This Game is one of the best Train Simulators ever. They have different modes so if you're not a professional you can still operate trains, building is very simple, and overall it's really fun. The only complaints I have are that if you couple up to different parts of the train and you set the throttle, it doesn't move so you have to set the throttle again, you cannot connect a roundhouse to a turntable so it's hard doing it on a pre-made map (you have to build the turntable then the roundhouse for it to connect), and they removed the text from 4 to 3 spaces for the number. If the Developers are reading this, please fix this and all the other bugs other people have been complaining about, it would make game play much better. Thank you for your time for reading this review. 12/16/2024 Alright This is my second review of this game and It turned sour quick. So like I said in my last review, there were a lot of bugs, now I found a major one. So when I was pulling my train to to Cord wood cranes I looked back and my train was there, take my POV off of it for one second and look back and my train us missing, somehow it appeared back at the yard in the Logging Camp and several cars were derail. To the Developers- You need to start listening to your community and taking their input, because you neglected them, there are many bugs that got you negative reviews so please fix the game and all it's bugs for the sake of the people who would love to see this game function properly! 2/12/2025 I have to address another bug I've been meaning to say. When I'm driving my Baldwin Consolidation derails on switches every 1/3 times when going at around 30 mph, I don't know if it's abug with just that locomotive or a bug in the game that applies to all locomotives. I've also noticed when I've been trying to customize the Baldwin 11D1, the name doesn't appear anywhere so please fix this too devs. Note to DEVs: PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR COMUNITY. If you stop neglecting our imput, this game wouldn't be so buggy and full of problems that have been needing to be fixed for a long time.
its fun just trust
train is coll it goes choo choo i like train :)
The tutorials are a bit too slow. there are some quality of life tweaks needed to make this game better. but as it stands now, it's still very fun. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who wants a good train sim.
