Reviews
It's great for people who like building intretract rail layauts and running beautilful modelled early American locos on it. Unfortunately, there has been no more development of this game for nearly two years. Which is a real shame.
After finally setting up a line to the logging camp, my 2 log wagons derailed. Tryed rerailing and the got stuck in each other. one is forever in the air but i can't rerail it and the other derails as soon as i pull and push it

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember playing this game prior to the version 1.0 update. While the game was rough, it was still pretty fun just to drive around the trains and build a lil railroad. Now, I can't even recommend the game due to it practically being abandonware at this point. The Devs have no intentions of updating the game further or adding any new content. If you're looking for a train game, either save your money for Century of Steam or buy Railroader because both are still being actively worked on compared to this game.
First off this is not a rant or anything similar. Just my overall first impressions with my first 50 hours played. The game has its quarks as any game in its infancy would have. Biggest issue atm is lack of optimization. Game is playable but in its current state it does require allot of patience. At times the optimization issues just ruin the experience. IMO the game should of received allot more attention to this detail. Maybe it is planed or in the works. Idk. But i assumed prior to purchase these kind of issues would of been resolved in "Early Access" ? For now until that changes i have to lean to not recommending the game. Purchase price just isn't worth what you get in the games current state. Other issues lack of any wildlife. Not even a bird. Seen no comments related to this from the dev(s) Game just feels empty. Same with any industry station etc. Just void of life. I have not looked into the multiplayer side of things. So to that end i cant comment on that. But the single player mode is def very lonely and needs some help. I will say though out of any game similar to this... The track laying mechanics are the best here from any other game i played. So kudos on that :D Once ya understand how it all works track laying is very clean. Other things i noticed needing attention some industry have what appears to be missing icons on outputs. Gota sift the wiki to verify what industry has the output you need. As of this post 12/13/24 the 1 industry i can recall off hand was the iron works and it not showing pipes as an output. My only other gripe is the lack of/for modding support. Mod creators are life for many games these days. One can almost just call it a meta. Dev(s) really need to consider this as it would add allot to the game and the community you seek to get behind it :) Anyways... Going to end with saying i hope things continue to get better and or improve. I'll keep an eye out for updates and adjust this review accordingly.
its a good game, but gets kinda boring after a while, but its also addicting, but the dev need to update this
This game is pretty good, mostly realistic, Not much lag. The only thing I would say is I don't like the new way to lay down the tracks. So what if you have 2 modes. The way you had it before and the current way.
The good : Nice maps and very well modeled trains and stations The bad : Clunky build and loading mechanics : simple tasks like filling the boiler or a wagon with water turn into a 30 min point and pray game. Lack of a main objective : You have different factories and mines that require and produce items but the final goods are nowhere to be used. So after a lot of building ( takes a long time ) you always get the feeling that is a pointless endeavour. The game could be improved drastically with a city to take goods and see it grow, also the atomation of some trains if you are playing single player.
the graphics are fairly good and the trains look really cool, but the track laying, gameplay, and tutorials suck.
I found it was lacking any substantce, filled with bugs and just boring after 2 hrs of play time.
