You and your fellow railroaders are the lifeblood of your railroad, just like it is the lifeblood of the communities it serves. Switch cars at industries. Keep people moving while running local passenger trains. Run trains with a purpose in transition era Appalachia – in Railroader!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I is really fun, Run your own railroad and run trains, there is also the option to do multiplayer, so you can play with your friends
cool
Heartily recommended for anyone wanting to have fun with trains. Game starts very chill as you watch your trains tootle around and learn how the railroad really works. I like the progression system which has you repairing damaged parts of the line to the east and/or west to expand and reach new customers. To be clear; the game is set in deepest, darkest North Cackalacky, with only trees as scenery. Trains will move 12 miles to cover what a crow could fly in 6. Very few parts of the railroad are good for more than 35 miles an hour, you can run the railroad any way you like as long as it's slow. You can't change any part of the existing track, it's just not a thing in the game. The generic name suggests a more freeform experience, it is in fact entirely focused on one specific, historical, not particularly long, mountain branchline. That's OK so long as you know it up front. I get that's part of the challenge and might make it more interesting from an operational level. Just don't expect any New York to Chicago speedway type stuff is all I'm saying. It's hard to write a really full review when it's still early access. I can say it never crashed to desktop on me and I'm having fun with it. I look forward to what the devs and modders do with it in the future.

Ich finde die realen Rangiermöglichkeite gut. Man kann sich richtig austoben...
Great game if you are into trains, also a fun game to play with like minded players
Love it, rock on with this.
One of the best train games in my opinion
If you love Railroading well then this is your game. Picture Train Simulator but you can actually do more, you can manually walk around with you character, hook & unhook your cars, set the brakes and even connect and unhook your air supply. Oh did i mention you can use a turn table to turn the locomotives around and fill your Locos with the proper fuel to continue operations? I highly recommend this game and you can even grab a buddy or too and play on each others railroads together or meet some random folks and join their lobbies.
It's a great game with lots of mods available over a wide range of countries and industrial mods. The game is more GPU heavy than it could be but that can be solved in an update.
WOULD BE NICE IFWE CAN MOVE OUR TRACKS AND CREATE THEM AND PLAC THEM
