Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Seems decent so far, 18 hours in. Fairly addictive! It was really confusing at first working out how to do more freight services etc, it's super unintuitive. Once you've figured out what to do it's good :)
Game is great! 10/10. Would recommend to my local computer ape.
worth $30
An amazing game showing the challenges of running a local railroad in the mountains. Haul all sorts of goods to local industry, and even venture into the mountains on shortlines to haul both wood and coal to customers alone your mainline. The game is regularly updated.
really hard to fuigure out but once you have its kind of fun
A really fun and (sometimes) relaxing branch line simulator! Railroader teaches how railroads actually move goods over the network in a hands-on way, and the player can decide how they want to tackle it. More frequent point-to-point trains, or massive yard-to-yard ones, with locals at either end? In early access, the AI is good enough that a player can manage maybe half-a-dozen trains at once if they want, or can keep the game small scale and manage only one or two. One of the best parts of the game is that you can (pretty) freely determine which and how many customers you want to serve, and at what frequency, so you can tune the game play per railroad day to what you best enjoy.
