You and your fellow railroaders are the lifeblood of your railroad, just like it is the lifeblood of the communities it serves. Switch cars at industries. Keep people moving while running local passenger trains. Run trains with a purpose in transition era Appalachia – in Railroader!

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
For early access, this game is already great. Looking forward to future updates. The modding community is excellent. Big thumbs up to the devs. Keep up the good work.
Yes the game has been early access for over 2 years but despite that it has had regular updates and still has alot of promise. Community is fantastic and passionate about trains and railroads with a excellent selection of mods. 10/10 would highly recommend

very fun and realistic, if i can't have a real railway, this is the next best thing!
So far this is the only railroad/train simulator game that actually models a proper rail logistics system in an open world that includes having to move resources from location to location including needing to provide resources for expanding the tracks. While it doesn't have designing tracks, I think that's okay, designing the perfect railroad system scratches a different "itch" than having to manage the logistics of an existing rail system. I've looked into Train Sim World and the like but they don't have the sandbox open world concept like Railroader does where you manage the logistics of multiple trains over months of time and an evolving railway. I'm looking forward to seeing what the devs add to this game as I've unlocked all the milestones and have the strongest engines in my "fleet", but still find myself playing this regularly. It's my go-to relaxation/zen game to play these days. So far so good! Keep up the good work!
Awesome game at it's core. It still needs more automation at this time if you intend to play as a business owner then mid to late game can become overwhelming. If you intend to play as a single Locomotive Engineer then this game is perfect right now.
it has trainz
One of the best Train simulator games I’ve ever played in a long time, I highly recommend it. I only wish there was a map editor like Trainz has but it still a fantastic game. I especially love the realistic physics and multiplayer action this game provides and the wonderful mods this community makes.
Fantastic game, highly functional, zero bugs. Great fun developing the railway from a couple industries to many miles of track
There's not much to say, other than this is a great game. It supports a wide range of play styles, from hands-on self driving to half-automated and order-based. The graphics is a mixed bag, the rolling stock is modeled to great detail, the environment not so much. They have a very specific tree model with a weird spot at the trunk that makes up like 80% of the trees and because it's so odd, you will recognize it everywhere and you can't unsee it once seen. But that's ok for an early access and such a small team and they have plans for that. As I understand, the current map is more or less a placeholder for the real thing. The devs are taking this in the right direction and have an open ear to the community. Definitely worth the money for what you already get if you like trains and train games.
