Game holds up after many years. I played this elementary and middle school, and now as I pursue my masters, I still love it

Uninstalled and contact Steam about a refund prior to writing this review, but wanted to put it out there for folks to know: Even though the store page specifies, "Starting January 1st, 2024, the Steam Client will only support Windows 10 and later versions," the game does NOT actually work on Windows 10. My experience is that the game would launch, play the intro, and crash about a minute into it. I would verify the files and it would say two were missing and the game would do the same thing on a second launch after that. Without verifying the files each time it's even worse, going straight to the menu when you launch the game only for it to flash on the screen for a moment and then crash. Some people have indicated there may be a fix for this, but it involves downloading a third party patch, which understandably is not something everyone may be keen to do.

Spilet er udfordrende for hobbispilleren. Det er et spil, som man skal være interesseret i jernbaner for at synes er sjovt, og ikke i spil generelt. Brugerfladen er intuitiv og man kan let spille spillet uden tutorialen, men vil man vinde kampagnen, er det en fordel. Tempoet i udbygningen kan holdes kraftigt tilbage, hvis man ikke læser resursekortet, og placerer sine stationer strategisk.

Excellent strategy game; nothing like it since.
