I have played this game for 63 minutes and want to give my review. The concept of this game is very good. Short summary: You can drive on rails, start, stop and change your direction. You can shoot or apply your shield which uses power that you can reload on a specific place. This is a
brilliant idea
since shooting with the mouse is not all. You have to be skilled in shooting AND moving while you only can drive on your rails. I think many other games with mouse shooting are too simple. But this game is not easy to beat and to finish. The controls make sense, too. Well made. The necessity to shoot at certain targets to open doors is very good, too. Another good idea: Switches within the rails and that you need to wait until the swith opens the rail. The many rails in the levels are like a maze and you have to think about on which rails you should drive to get the collectable diamond in the easiest way, without being destroyed. You have to collect all the diamonds to unlock the door and finish the level. So you have to remember which areas you have already visited. Great! I hope this won't be changed in an update and that there won't be a map for orientation because this would make it too easy. . . Game concept: 10/10 points !! . . The graphics are quite ok. They vary not much within the levels but are well done. In some levels the graphics is stuttering a bit and in other levels it runs smooth. There is a bit a motion blur effect that I don't really like and I think it would have been better to be able to turn this effect off. Graphics: 8/10 points The sounds are unique and nice, too. Sounds: 7/10 points Unfortunately the music is too monotone. This game is not easy to beat and so you have to repeat the levels in a relatively short interval - and each time you hear the same music and the same start of the music. Music: 3/10 points There are a few things I can't understand: - meaning of the yellow lighting barrels that you can drive over. - meaning of the crystals that grow on the walls and which you can shoot / destroy. Perhaps these things have a meaning - but I don't understand it up to now. - Why are all 9 levels unlocked although I have not played them one after another? Negative aspects: - There are only a few different enemies that can be destroyed. I think there's not enough variety. - All enemies can be destroyed by only one hit. - Your fire power is always the same. The sort of bullets and shots don't vary. Why can't you improve the interval of your bullets and the fire power? - You can be destroyed by only 1 hit. Of course I know that the use of the shield is an important part and I think this should not be changed. However there should be the possibility to charge your armor / resistance of your tank. So I want to summarize: All in all there's not much variety in the music, in the sounds, in the enemies, in the shooting......... - In the current moment (game has been just released) 24.01.2018, there's the bug that you cannot change your settings in the options menu. I have reported this bug in a threat and got the quick answer that this will be changed after an update. Perhaps you ask yourself why I still want to recommend this game although I have found so many things that I think can be improved.
I RECOMMEND you this game because of the very unique and nice concept. Apart of that it is challenging and games that are not easy to beat and master are rare today.
That's it ;-P I hope I will see more of this type of game, maybe a next version of it. Thumbs up !

Ok, pretty much 1st impression after playing the 1st 7 lvls... Gameplay: Pretty simple, collect diamonds, shoot turrets and other enemies on or beside your rail track while avoiding traps or activating rotators, doors, etc. Controlls: Keyboard + mouse or gamepad. I have tried it with the earlier pair, WSAD movement, mouse aiming, left click to shoot, right click to activate your shield when you have the energy to do so. Graphics: Nothing extraordinary, still pretty good for this type of game. Textures are nice and simple, no screen tearing, effects are all in place... Tho its a bit strange that it eats up my Rx580 100%... So far i have only noticed 1 thing that can affect gameplay later. Enemies comes trough doors. These doors have animation, so you can expect an enemy to show up when it opens, yet on the 7th lvl, doors just close when the enemy shows up, so your timing can be totally off when to shoot that direction. Game is free, so its only a minor problem for now. If you want some fun now and than, and dont wanna rush trough fast, then i can only recommend this game. Heck even if it would be 2€, i would still buy it.
Played it on Twitch ! I really like it, please people, play it, I love this concept. There is more to do, and Im waiting forward that ! The game is too tiny obviously but its your first game, cant complain into that ! It's free, it's good, it's their first game, what do you people wait ?
Recommend or not recommend? Definitely a not recommend. Yes, the "game" is free, but then again, you can also complete it in about 10 minutes. It's a glorified student demo. Yes, the program works, yes, you've got a functioning product, but I just don't see a reason to play it or even offer it on Steam. I get it, the developers want to get some exposure, etc. And I mean, the game IS free, so whatever. My review would have been really negative had they charged money for this. There are also no micro transactions or other fees hidden inside the game. And as I've said, it can be beaten in less than half an hour if you die a lot and in maybe less than 10 minutes if you don't and just speedrun it. The gameplay is extremely simply. You're in some sort of vehicle on rails. There are two types of enemies: other vehicles on rails, which spawn continuously and rapidly, as well as stationary turrets, which do not respawn. Apart from that there are walls/doors that and rail switches that can be activated by shooting or are on auto activate. Your goal is to collect x energy cubes lying around in the level and get to the level exit to open it without dying. And you die instantly, in one hit, but so do all enemies. Your armaments are a rapid fire plasma gun or whatever as well as a shield that will lose energy when used and can be recharged at shield stations. It will also massively slow you down, but you are impervious to all damage. The controls are a bit finnicky, since you're on rails, switching directions is only possible at intersections, but as you can imagine you can't quickly change directions. You basically have to stop and then move into another direction the rails allow you to. This makes the gameplay in itself rather irritating and boring. A rails shooter only works imho if you don't die in one hit and your use of offensive and defensive abilities as well as your trigger finger determine whether you win or lose. Here it's more of a cat and mouse game. I can see the appeal, but it's just not executed well enough to be called a game. Like I said, it feels like an early semester student work. The AI is also quite non-existant. They will spawn and shoot you. They don't really pursue you, they don't really get behind cover and they bloody well just ram you when you're shielded. Only their quick and heavy spawn rate makes them dangerous. I'll say this though: Good job on implementing check points. I hope you continue developing and I don't want to criticize you harshly, I just don't think this is something that should be on Steam or should at least be in a separate category and not in the regular games list. Even if it's free.
am i the first one who finish it? Kappa the game is good but its short and only two levels is hard and the rest was easy for me if there were more levels and hards one, it will be great but it still great game, thanks veld for creating this game and sharing it with us <3
This is a very nice small game, that offers an enjoyable, puzzling experience. The pros: - Fun puzzles that have a nice relaxing feel, and give a sense of accomplishment on completion. - Fluid movement and shooting, that adds to the whole puzzle element of the game. When you flow from one rail to the next, moving between rotating rails with good timing, it feels very slick. - Nice clean art style, with fancy lighting. - Nice music that suits the puzzle elements of the game. The cons: - The difficulty curve is quite nice for most of the game, however it suddenly jumps up at a later point. - The use of many enemies masks the fun puzzles during the later levels in my opinion, which frustrated me. - The enemy bullet visuals mix with destroyed enemies occasionally, making it hard to see what killed you. I also had a few framerate issues at first, however these were solved after fiddling with the settings in the nvidia control panel. Overall this game seems like a well-polished experience. If only there were more levels!
很特别的游戏。 Awesome game.
Holy moly, what a great game to play. Actually really enjoyed it, glad it was free, but is probably worth a bit of money if new levels are added and some minor things are fixed and changed (music continuous rather than broken up on each new level). All in all a great experience, I had difficulty finishing the game, eventhough I am obviously such a godlike pc gamer. Thank you
