Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Weird resolution & scaling issues. Keys not re-bindable. C is crouch instead of L-Ctrl. Shows X-box glyphs even if you are on PC & your controller hasn't been plugged in. Can't adjust FOV, & FOV is very narrow by default. Mouse behaves very strangely in menus. Stretchy shoulder pads that look like they are supposed to be made of metal, but bend like rubber when the character moves their arms. Takes about 13 minutes before you get to shoot anything; there are worse games for this, but I want to hit the ground gunning, so this is still too long of a wait in my opinion.
Very good game. Missions are diverse. Good weapons (various ammo types) and combat mechanics. Addictive.
A very, very forgettable game. Nothing about it will stick in anyone's mind. The shooting did feel kind of satisfying, but it was not enough.
Yeah, the game is from 2011—that’s not the issue—but whenever you move the mouse to look around or aim, there are these little stutters that are so annoying they completely put you off playing. The intent was there, but the developers just didn't follow through. It’s wild that things were the same back then as they are today. I wonder how RAGE 2 will perform.
Got back to this game for the nostalgia and was disappointed. Rage run with all sorts of technical issues, heavy stuttering, popping textures and random crashes. I had to tweak the game settings and mess around with config files to make it somehow manageable but the random crashes and texture pops still happened every now and then. Gameplay-wise, Rage is a very basic open world-ish first person shooter which seems very outdated when compated to other games that came out in 2011. The gun play is soild but the weapons are basic and boring. the various gadgets that you can use are nice but not enough to elevate the mediocre shooting. Enemy variety is very shallow, you fight some bandit clans which come in different flavours, boring mutents and some late game soldiers that offer some challange but they are barely in the game to be enjoyable. Boss fights are meh... Driving in the game is a boring chore, the vehicle controls are stiff and vehicular combat offers no challange. The race events are underdeveloped to be any fun. The Scorchers DLC offers some new maps and enemies but it is the same slog as the base game in quality. Visually the game was very impressive when it came out, the character animations and enemy reactions are still very impressive and the graphics look spectacular when they are working as intended. But the world map looks barren and travelling across the open world map becomes boring very quickly. The smaller maps like enemy bases and towns look much better, with great attention to detail and level design. Maybe a remastered version could save this game, but for now you should stay away from it because of the technial instability, the boring plot, barebones gameplay and mediocre driving. Get it on sale if you really itching for a 2011 shooter experience.
Not the greatest post-apocalyptic, mutant-infested FPS, but a decent, above-average tech demo. The most important part, the shooting, feels impactful and shows that id still know how to make fun games, and combined with the way enemies convincingly react when getting shot, it makes the whole experience even better as the combat feels punchy and weighty. The vehicles control pretty well and are fun to drive around. The wasteland is decent to explore; there are some secrets to find, so it doesn't feel empty. On the other hand, the story's boring and forgettable; it's just there. There's no big finale; it just abruptly ends. Missions in general aren't very inspired and feel like filler. The open-world is not all that open, but at least it's not overtly expansive just for the sake of it; there are some sections to wander through, but exploration is pretty limited. Driving is nothing to write home about; it does its job, but it's not very interesting. It just doesn't do enough to differentiate from other post-apocalyptic wastelands like Borderlands or even Fallout; it's been there, done that, the game. Given its current price, I'd say RAGE's a decently fun time and worth picking up; just don't expect something groundbreaking.
