Overview
Radial Impact is described from their store page as "a fast-paced, single-player game that challenges players' reflexes by matching the sizes of two circles; one static and one dynamic" and to its credit it gets half of that right. However, Radial Impact is neither challenging nor fast-paced. In fact, I'd wager this could sparsely be called a game at all. Your given three options from the title screen: time trials, "classic" mode and waves. Between the three of them you essentially do the same thing: you'll be given two circles, and one will come inward or outward and you're tasked with clicking inside the smaller of the two when they perfectly overlap. In time trials, you're timed, in classic you go until it becomes as exhilarating as watching paint dry and in waves you select between 5-50 waves of one circle each. At the end of whatever mode you've playing you'll be given a score. That's it. There is no leaderboard [nobody plays it even if there was] and the game doesn't even track your own high score, as it resets to default after each run. Why any of this amounts to a saleable product eludes me, as Radial Impact is a perfect example of minimal effort and lack of innovation. There is no end goal, no purpose, no achievements or even a reason you're clicking other than because the game requires you to do so. Everything about this game is poorly done. The background is dull with static animation and obnoxious color changing effects. The juxtaposition of the music and game speed make zero sense, often being at opposite sides of the spectrum in terms of speed. The content, if you can even call it that, is practically nonexistent. I cannot even begin to fathom why this game was made. You'd probably find my enjoyment in taking the $1.00 and burning it, than adding this game to your playlist.
Pros

There are absolutely zero pros about playing this game.

Cons

Left click to win. That's all you do. Forever.
The pace of the music conflicts with the pace of the "game".
Zero playability and even less replayability.
Overall, Radial Impact is a poor excuse for a game. There are no positives to be found, no joy to be had and no effort to be seen. Chalk this game up to one you can easily ignore. Don't waste your time or your money on it.

Hit the spot when the two circles overlap, that's the whole game. Gets repetetive after 5 minutes and has no diversity
Updated Review I thought maybe the developer planned on expanding on this a bit. I guess not. Literally one of the most disappointing games I've seen. The developer seems to have pushed this out in a day or two, then left it to rot. Old Review For $0.99 I can't really even explain to you why you should or should not buy this. I mean, it's only $0.99. You click expanding circles to some nice music. I personally would enjoy it a bit more if there was a highscore system or something to not make it feel like a indie phone app. I played each game mode and then had to wait another minute just so I could post this review. There is not a ton to do in this game in case you haven't understood that from my review yet. The particle effects are nice. And the lighting burns my eyes but it's pretty. Because of the price tag nearly saying "Free", I'm going to recommend this.
I would not recommend based on the fact that there really isn't anything to the game. No achievements, no trading cards and a barely working mobile game. This game is not worth $0.99
I had to leave the "game" open for the time shown just to write this review; I actually spent 4 minutes looking at it, going through the options ( non-existant ), etc... The point of the game is to click your mouse button when the circle which shrinks or grows reaches the identical size of the static circle; ie a reactionary "game". I don't recommend this as a game, however as a part of therapy in order to improve reaction time it could be beneficial because of the random location of the circle you're required to focus on different areas and guage speed before clicking. The reason I'm not going to recommend this "game" is because it's hardly a game. It's obvious that it was meant for mobile because of the lack of options ( although there wouldn't be much of a need ); the developer could've at least spent another few moments on the code to add a sound-slider for music / effects but there's only one symbol which mutes all of it. I could've written this game in as little as 5 minutes. It consists of a background image ( either generated or static ) whereby another background image is flashed on screen every now and again ( so the primary bg could be black with a transparency active png/gif being displayed on top and then every now and again with an offset ), a large and small circle ( random sizes in a range ) placed on screen at a random location ( for simplicity we can say top/left of a square around the circle is 0, 0 so the maximum x and y coord [ clamped ] is Screen Width - largest circle size, Screen Height - largest circle size so it always shows on screen ), then it waits for clicks and compares the current size of both circles ( or it calculates the time it'll take for the one circle to be at the exact size of the other and uses the click time as a comparitor ). As you can see, it's a very simple system and the idea is usually integrated into games differently ( ie allowing the player time to hit a button to successfully complete a move, making sure the player is actively playing to entire a wall or other trap isn't hit [ in the case of the helicopter flash game which moves sideways all the time and the player has to press space to apply upward "thrust" to prevent collisions with the ground of varying height and a ceiling; is more complex than this game ]. Calling this a game is an injustice. The menu is non-existent. I purchased this as part of a bundle and I am trying to give fair reviews so the people reading this can see an honest review of this title and others I review.
Tags: Clicker - Fast Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Low budget wanna trippy presentation ends up slightly nauseating. Looping music. Excessive simplicity of mechanics. No Xbox360pad. For a mindless clicker I could live with the ultra simplistic concept and execution. What I cannot live with however is the cheap backdrop that lights up in a distracting way that makes you zone out and causes you to perform poorly, the repetitive looping background music, the cheap colored rings, the varying speed at which the rings will move from target to target... For this concept to work it needed to look either really classy or really trippy, have a much better sound design, and maybe added a psychedelic hidden unlockable easter egg as a punch line, give it flavor, and wrap up the whole package. Also finding a way to accomodate controller support even if it means adjusting the mechanic to account for it...For all of these reasons I cannot justify keeping this, even in a mindless clicker category. It really is just library clutter and does not provide any entertainment value, it wont help you relax, or even give you a satisfying enough mindless activity to keep your hands busy
