Some of the laziest garbage to ever be flipped from the Unity Asset Store. The most amusing part about this is the developer forgot to put a price tag on it, so he forgot to try get YOUR money for other people's Unity assets. Race On Ice 2021 Pro is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Race On Ice 2021 Pro", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

С одной стороны, физика управления автомобилем по льду реализована довольно неплохо, чувствуется вес машины и зависимость от сцепления с поверхностью. Графика, несмотря на "2021" в названии, выглядит устаревшей, но компенсируется хорошей оптимизацией – игра стабильно работает даже на не самых мощных устройствах. Звуковое сопровождение добавляет атмосферы, рев моторов и звук шин по льду впечатляют. С другой стороны, контента явно недостаточно. Количество трасс и автомобилей ограничено, что быстро надоедает. Отсутствует какой-либо внятный карьерный режим или система прогресса, что лишает игру долгоиграющего интереса. Искусственный интеллект соперников предсказуем и не представляет серьезной угрозы. Можно было бы добавить больше настроек сложности и режимов игры, чтобы разнообразить геймплей. В целом, "Race On Ice 2021 Pro" - это неплохой симулятор гонок по льду для тех, кто просто хочет немного дрифтануть и почувствовать себя за рулем мощного авто на скользкой трассе, но отсутствие контента и разнообразия не позволяет ей закрепиться надолго. Рекомендую брать только по скидке.
