The action takes place in a 1930s Texas prison, the plot is full of tension and mysteries. It looks and sounds great, the controls are convenient. A game for fans of this genre
You'll be treated to a little narration at the beginning, you'll see a cutscene. After that, the game genre will change from warden simulator to adventure puzzle simulator :D
Добротная бродилка-головоломка на вечерок по цене чизбургера:) Было интересно изучать локации, искать ключи и коды. Игра свою стоимость уверенно отбила. Буду с нетерпением ждать новых проектов!
It catches the eye immediately: - The game's graphics (they're amazing) - level design - in-game animations - many mechanics and item interactions I want to endlessly recount the prisoners, tick the boxes next to their surnames to elegantly play with a pen ;)
Well... Hm. I found this demo (it *is* just a demo, not a full game!) interesting. The atmosphere is quite nice, some jumpscares really got me. The puzzles are alright, if a bit simple. The
ceiling creature things
look very unique, I wish they had other functions other than a single jumpscare. Quod clearly had some love and hard work put into it, but it wasn't enough to outweigh all of the cons. The most apparent issue to me was how badly optimized the game is. The only graphical "setting" is a slider from 50 to 200 (???) that doesn't change anything from what I could tell. It's weird how such a small demo made my PC whirr as if it was running RDR2. The second issue I had was the voice acting. It's... Bad. Really bad. It sounds borderline parodic, which doesn't add to the atmosphere the game is trying to uphold. At this point I would leave it out completely, subtitles are more than enough. I didn't appreciate the hints the game throws at you unprompted. I.e. the door outlines that you can see through the walls or how the keys light up after a few seconds of no player input in the
morse code puzzles
. I mean, come on, you made a puzzle game, let players think and figure out the puzzles for themselves, let them explore! Hints can be useful, but should only appear when the player asks for help. The game premise looked promising, but it seems that this demo is all we're going to get. It really is a shame. I wish the developers good luck in making their future projects.
très bon jeu, gameplay sympa, envie de savoir la suite parce que j'ai passé un bon moment dessus mais pour ça il faut un episode 2 et donc soutenir les devs pour l'avenir alors n'hésitez à prendre ce petit jeu
Game play was short and the puzzles were decently easy to figure out, but I did enjoy them. The visuals were great since I'm a big fan of the move "The Green Mile" with all the cute easter eggs in the lockers.. BUT (and I mean this in the nicest way possible) the forced voice acting made it incredibly difficult to want to continue playing because it didn't match the vibe of the game -at all-. If I could offer any suggestion for the second part it would be to PLEASE add an option to turn off the voice and just use subtitles if you wanted. Definitely satisfied with the amount of entertainment it gave me for the sale price of $1.08 :)
Virtual Desktop.
Really nice indie horror game. Well placed jump scares and an eery atmosphere. The puzzles are nice but not too hard. I really hope there will be an episode 2 The voice acting of the protagonist reminded me of Rick and Morty, nice spin hehe Ps.: Loved the easter eggs
