After 20 years in search of the mysterious Egyptian artifact of Hanon, you managed to find the entrance, but to get inside you need to solve more than one puzzle. You do not have much time, you are locked in 4 walls and oxygen is running out.

This escape room is very small, and what you see in the trailer is all there is. One wall is not even being used, so you got 3 sides with some puzzles, and turning and twisting 1 or 2 item pieces (which goes a bit clunky). The puzzles aren't very hard and some things you can even solve by trial and error. You can get 6 achievement just by finishing the game, 1 by letting the clock run out, and 1 which is kinda harsh finishing it within 11 minutes (that's really really fast). I want to adress some of the negative reviews. -Lack of savegames? Come on seriously this is not an adventure game, and these people obviously didn't grow up in the 8bit console era, but anyway it's not needed, the game itself does not nearly take a hour. -Buggy, i have not encountered any bugs, i don't know if that's being lucky or that the dev fixed them in the meantime. -Pause button, i can agree with that but you can alt+tab out (or even combined with alt+enter in windowed mode and make the window smaller) then the timer will not run, and you can get a cup of coffee or watch a youtube walkthrough. It's not worth 2,39€ , more like 1,00€ so for full price i would not recommend it, but on sale for 0,40€ you can have a little fun for an hour or so with it. Note that we are promised 2 more sequels, but as i am writing this review, that's been 2 years ago since this was made, and the dev seems to be not very active and working on just pretty much any other game but this. https://twitter.com/burrikgames
All of the problems with this game are easily fixed, if the developer cared enough about it. I posted some suggestions for how this game could be improved FOUR months ago (in Discussions) and the developer has not responded so I am taking that to mean he is no longer interested in fixing any of the bugs or issues players have reported. I didn't complete the game and just uninstalled it. At least its cheap and I paid less in a sale so I don't feel TOO ripped off.
Wish I could recommend this game because I like the concept. However, there are just flaws that make the game at times a chore or unplayable. I've had to restart because of bugs where I wasn't able to progress even though obtaining a piece or solving a puzzle should have progressed the game. There are also some optimization issues and the controls are less-than-stellar. Oh, and I wasn't able to play it until I got a new mouse because you can't select your own bindings, so if your mouse scroll wheel is broken or wonky don't bother. That said, the theme is good, the puzzles interesting, and the game was varied enough to my liking. The graphics had no issues and I actually liked the overall aesthetics and design. Those combined would have made me like the game were it not for control and game-breaking issues. If the devs could address those, then I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, but as it stands, it would be a no-go for me.
I have mixed feelings about this game, but decided to give it a thumbs up. I just as easily could have given it a thumbs down, but I decided it had enough good about it spare the developer. The graphics are good, as one would expect, and I enjoyed the Egyptian theme. Some of the puzzles are quite challenging with no obvious solution to work toward, so a couple of them I solved as a matter of pure luck. Some of the puzzles, on the other hand, are mere tasks because you're give the answer in front of you. In general, though, the puzzles were standard fare. My biggest problem with the game is that the timer cannot be turned off. It seems basic to me that that should be an option, and I don't reckon it would be a monumental coding task. The other big issue is that there is no way to save your progress or to pause the game. That, for me, is usually an automatic thumbs down. During my last play-through, when I actually managed to escape, my wife spilled tea on an extension cord and popped the main breaker. It was after dark, so I had to deal with it. I had to leave the clock running, which could have been a disaster with respect to finishing the game. Fortunately, I had plenty of time because I'd run through most it several times. Not having the option to turn off the clock or to pause/save the game is the mark of an amateur. I hope the developer does better next time.
Well it's not the best escape room ever, but not the worst either. It has achievements, and it was made by one person, so I tend to give some grace. I did not like the lack of a save - so be warned that you may be in there for an hour and a half and not be able to save. I did like the timer, and a plausible explanation for it. I'd be happy to play a sequel to this game.
decent and short puzzle game. worth the hour i spent on. the price is not too high. i recommend it.
I wanted to like this game because of the Egypt theme. It was a very cool concept. The things that bothered me were: buggy controls, very limited camera movement, inability to reset a puzzle, some puzzles that have 0 clues, no pausing and the achievements do not pop in game!
Buggy and frustrating!
