Become the hero of this totally not suspicious fantasy kingdom. Learn the adventuring ropes from a mighty knight and fight monsters and dragons to save the day - but remember - the most important parts of being a hero are bravery, heroism and not asking too many questions.

It may seem like an undertale clone, but balancing dodging and attacking and the more fantasy-oriented humor help it stand out. Plus the secrets are crazy, I tried my best to be thorough and only found like one or two. It's short and sweet, but also pretty cheap.
Fun little game.
Disclaimer: Beta tested / Early backed it on kickstarter. That means I paid for it. I've seen Quest?Quest! change over time and I've seen the developer put his heart into it. It's a little short, but the price to time ratio is good. I really like the humor but the British spelling of things puts me off a little. I guess I'm not used to that. Nice pixel art and music, I actually had some of the songs stuck in my head.
Quest? Quest! Is a wonderfully entertaining game featuring a cute and charming cast of characters, an interesting combat system, and a story you'll want to play until the very end. And then you'll want to play it again. Comparisons can easily made to Undertale, but I wouldn't call it an homage or inspiration, even with the magic skeletons, hidden metaplot involving cycles of you playing the game, a pacifism option in combat, and an emphasis on making friends along the way to stop a tragedy. I would simply call it in the same genre or style, something I hope more RPGs take note of and go through what Quest? Quest! does to make it their own. Pros: Wonderful Cast Cute Characters (Especially the Lost Angry Jellyfish, too much!) Sly writing in how the Endings are set up and expectations of the genre are subverted. The first time playing I thought I got all the hints and did the right thing, only to be proven wrong. Which was refreshing to me. Stats and abilities being tied to your various swords is a great way to handle such a thing while keeping it story focused. Cons: Once you find the Onyx Edge, you win combat forever. Hold Block, Keep your Special up and get in close to attack. Alternatively, just wait it out in a corner while spamming diplomacy while doing the block/special method. While combat certainly isn't much of a challenge enough to not push yourself to do more than that cheese strat or perhaps, even the focus of the game, the temptation to just keep going back to that was great. An abrupt end. With a bit of a hint from the developer, I found the path to two of the secret endings. I won't divulge spoilers but playing through the game a second time you'll notice a queue to retrace your steps and what I interpret to be a sort of you "waking up" to the cycles that are hinted at down this path. Either way, once you find a "true" ending of sorts, the game just sort of resolves but in a bit of a hollow fashion. Like, the story itself is wanting to keep going but there wasn't enough time to put it in. And while it is quite frustrating, it is understandable. The save system. While probably not an issue for the regular player, while going ending hunting I cam upon the issue that there was no in-game load option. Each time I would have to restart the game, not "exit to main menu", restart in order to hit the continue button from the main menu. The endings? Each would exit the game after ending. TLDR; This is a fun experience, a great story I recommend that EVERYONE WHO READS THIS take the time as I did to see it through to at least their first of the four endings. At that point, if you saw the bait of more and want it? Take it. If you don't feel too inspired by the desire for more, but enjoyed yourself anyways than don't worry over it all too much.
It was so funny, at least a brilliant joke every five minutes or so, and really enjoyed the witting, charming, lovable secondary characters as well as the imaginative fight scenes and more realistic/ immersive world, like characters living lives off screen, which truly sets it apart from other games. There are more subtle things, like the mention of the starter screen while in game, which only gives it an elevated feel, as if talking directly to you. The art and colour is beautiful, making the game visually pleasing and better to play. Even if I didn't like the game the sound track is amazing and unique enough to carry it. It perfectly portrays the tone of the situation while sounding great! Definitely a buy! But of course don't take this one review for what it's like, buy it and see for yourself.
Some games wear their inspiration on their sleeve, but this game takes its inspiration, flays it, and wears it around like its own set of skin. Making a game so much like Undertale just immediately draws comparisons to Undertale and unfortunately this game can't hold up to the comparison.
I loved playing this game, I was first interested in it because it reminded me of Undertale but it is definitely different! The humour and art style of Quest? Quest! is perfect and fun, there's so many comical characters and achievements to discover that I can't help but keep going back. The fact that this was made by one person (except for the music, which was so fitting for each area) is incredible!
pushed a guy out a window, let the world die, saved the world, and killed a dragon 1-3 times fantastic cheeky RPG with actual choices, endings and cunning, a lot of love and variety went into this game
Short but sweet. I'm not a huge fan of the Undertale style combat, but it works well enough. Jokes land well, and the characters are fun, if not the most developed. The graphic style is pleasant, but suffers from an overabundance of flat-filled shapes. Some more texture might have been nice. Music isn't particularly memorable, but fit for scenes.
I feel like this game did the bare minimum to be enjoyable, the bare minimum to be funny and the bare minimum to be self aware.
