Quake Live

this had so much potential to be the definitive replacement and modern way of playing quake 3. it was once free and was made paid when it hit steam apparently. all the servers are just 50 year olds gatekeeping, i joined this dumb server that was just lightning gun only, got death threats and slurs and voted out in less than a minute. lmao it is also abandoned, left in a buggy state. dont bother unless you got people willing to play.

Good game, but would not recommend because the remaining players (on this version at least) are quake die hards with thousands of hours who would kick new players from the servers for being "too bad and ruining the game for others" for the most part. Though it is worth playing with friends/people of the same level, in this case consider it.

Обзьяны (местные потные руки с 2010г) не дают учиться- если ты не делаешь пять фрагов за полминуты- тебя просто кикают. Серверов хотя бы с 6 игроками - 4 штуки, каждый примат знает своих потных друзй. Если вы по-фану завалитесь к ним- вас выгонят Наверное, даже хорошо, что меня сразу выставили из этого сообщества задротов и потных жирных мужиков. Есть много других вариантов, как провести свое время

i forced all of my friends to try this game, and they hated it 👍

Game is fun but if you are new, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ players will kick you from the server. It also has a low player count so don't even try to find other servers. Just play something else.

pls play this game it is the highest skill ceiling fps game you can play and it will make you good at literally everything else

If you didn't grow up playing Quake, you wouldn't get it. Modern FPS's outshine it in some ways, and yet I still come back to this punishing, fast-paced shooter. I doubt anyone under 35 plays this game, and if they do, good for you son.
