An absolute classic. A must-play for fans of FPS games. Great soundtrack👌
legendary game. q2dm1)
For me personally Quake II has always teetered on a fine line between fun and mid. It becomes very repetitive but as long as you keep moving and shooting it's absorbing and worth the price of admission. This remaster is excellent and fixes all of the annoying issues with the original version and the new episode, Call of the Machine, is probably the best part. Well done again Nightdive.

One of the best games of all time.. no question. The new Episode is FANTASTIC! Top tear stuff.. better than all these rubbishy indie, so called "boomer" shooters flooding Steam.. Buy it.. buy it now!
quake 2
Top, conheci no PS1, jogo até hoje!!!
QUAKE II tiene muchos modos de juego, es buen shooter y dentro de Steam es mi juego favorito he jugado mas de 500 horas es buenisimo
It's peak Quake 2+. The new campaigns are Godly. Play them.
While not nearly as good as Quake I, Quake II is still an enjoyable FPS. NightDive has done a phenomenal job remastering this classic, and while I was disappointed when it came out because of the shift away from the dark fantasy of Quake I, I have since been able to separate the two games and appreciate Quake II more. I love the huge levels, and the music that is there is incredible. The new campaign in this remaster is a special treat for fans of this franchise. I only hope Quake IV gets a proper remaster this year for the 30th anniversary of the franchise... It really needs a face lift.
