The setting is stupid, the gameplay is decent, the music is nice. I would recommend getting it at a hefty discount, but other than that it is worth it... maybe.

if you played any other supergiant games' game and thought to yourself: "this game is great, and all, but i could really use something more narrative and chill rn" well, this game is it! the rites are still really fun to play, but the focus here is in story and characters. enjoy!

Игра порадовала, красочная, спортивная, с глубоким сюжетом и персонажами, реально переживаешь за каждого на всех этапах прохождения, и с каждым матчем всё тревожней-противники матереют, ставки растут) На удивление - это можно отнести к роглайку. Отрицательные баффы на матч также имеются- для тех кто любит боль и похрустывание челюсти за ушами...но не обязаловка-за что отдельное спасибо.

If you like games that will make you agonise for 5 minutes over choosing between 3 options in a menu then you'll love this game. Every character is memorable and likeable, brought to life by incredible art. While the story will definitely be the highlight for most people, the game-play was fun and varied, with you always having to switch up you approach depending on the current situation. While I have only completed it once so far, this is a game that begs to be replayed every few years or so, in order to see the different outcomes of its many difficult choices. Until the day of my replay comes, however, I will be more than satisfied from listening to the excellent soundtrack as I remember my time in the Downside.

As an avid player of all supergiant´s games I had high hopes with pyre. Sadly I just dont think that this game is for me, I completed it on the highest difficulty and I just didn´t click with the gameplay. At its heart this game is a sports game with RPG: mechanics mixed with a visual novel which sounds pretty interiguing but just didn´t work for me at all. The story is quite wierd, not bad but you are missing so much context on the world and even though you get snippets here and there throughout it still left me confused at points and unsatisfied at the end. I think this game was a very brave experiment in design and realy shows that Supergiant has a lot of cool and intersting idéas but this time I think that the final product just wasn´t very fun compared to their other titles. I´m not going to make this a negative review because I don´t think this is a bad game I just think that it falls short and doesn´t jive with my own preferences. Worth a playthrough if you like fantasy sports games otherwise you might want to skip it.
