The good old C64 Era. There were many Games out that were so challenging you should have bitten into your Joystick. I mean many of them look so easy but were so hard. Games that were unforgiven against Mistakes. You die and have to start over again. Never played a Game like this? Then Welcome to PUZZLEMAZED! Well PUZZLEMAZED describes himself as: Classic Arcade, 2D, Puzzle and Mazed, pixel art. Easy to Play, Hard to Complete. I would say: Classic Arcade, 2D, Puzzle and Mazed, pixel art. Easy to Play, VERY, VERY Hard to Complete. So, this Game is NOT for everyone. In PUZZLEMAZED you are playing a Knight who has to beat Mazes. Full of Monsters, Treasures and Keys. You just have ONE Life. You can choose between 2 Ways. The Way of the Spider, i think there is a Spider Endboss and the Way of the Titans, where you have to free chained Titans with keys. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3271114782 In both ways i easily went through Level 1, but then the Mazes got much bigger. Many Monsters but also much Treasure. There were also Wallspikes everywhere, so be careful. I died many Times but started over and over again. This Game is really unforgiving. One Mistake and you die. Game Over. No saving, no Level Password. PUZZLEMAZED has only Key Control. No Mouse, no Joypad, but the Gameplay with the Kyeboard is fluid, no Problems. So, if you want to experience how we played in the 80´s or if you just want a challenging Game where you really have to concentrate to avoid Mistakes that lead you to GAME OVER, then this is for you. Puzzlemazed is a lackluster and frustrating game that fails to deliver an enjoyable experience due to its numerous shortcomings. The absence of essential features like an undo option and checkpoints makes progression unnecessarily arduous, while repetitive and static level design adds to the monotony. Players are often left feeling helpless and irritated as they attempt to navigate the exact same mazes plagued by uncooperative monsters that refuse to budge, further diminishing the game's appeal. There's also no support for a mouse or game controller. A controller would have been perfect for this type of punishment. There are only two puzzles in this unforgiving "don't touch anything" game. The first was the opening greeting: "Search you sword and the giant spider". Still haven't figured that one out. The other puzzle was trying to find a way to disable the "Fullscreen and "Sound". Apparently, you have to right-click on the option itself for it to work properly. Really intuitive! So, if you're looking for an actual puzzle game, look elsewhere. Considering its inflated price and the prevalence of superior puzzle games on the market, Puzzlemazed is a regrettable misadventure that's difficult to recommend even to the most devoted fans of any genre.
